If you're Charlie Rangel, there's one thing you just don't like. That thing is "being censured for ethics violations." Actually, scratch that. There are two things you don't like. The first is "being censured for ethics violations" and the other is "paying your taxes." OK, sorry. To be fair, there are three things you don't like... "Being censured for ethics violations," "paying taxes," and some guy named "Benjamin Netanyahu."
It's that third thing that really has your dander up at the moment.
Benjamin Netanyahu, a respected world leader and an ally of the United States has dared to accept an invitation to speak to Congress. Rangel sees this as a grave affront to the left-wing demigod currently occupying the White House and, when you've insulted the object of his worship, you've insulted Rangel himself. (See below.)
So he's sending "Bibi" weird tweets which seem to suggest he'd like some sort of Rangel/Netanyahu cage match to take place.
Be careful, and try not to be distracted by Rangel's jade hypno-ring as you check out the fury behind that stare! Don't look directly at it, lest you succumb to its terrifying mind-control powers!
I could have sworn that Democrats like Rangel were basing their outrage over Netanyahu's speech on the (obviously false) pretense that the invitation represents "a breach of decorum." If they're so concerned about propriety, they'd do well to remember that "you gotta problem with me?" is probably not the best way to address a foreign head of state.
