The U.S. Capitol Police are investigating threatening emails against Rep. Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican recently tapped to lead a special panel probing the Benghazi terrorist attacks. The investigation comes after POLITICO reporters and journalists at other outlets received two emails on Tuesday warning that Gowdy would be harmed because of his role in investigating the 2012 attacks. The Capitol Police would not comment on the scope of the investigation but Officer Shennell Antrobus confirmed that there is “an active, open investigation.”Ah, the administration faithful. Such a bunch of tolerant, intelligent, well-intentioned individuals. It's a shame they're so lacking in brains. Anyone who spends any time working in the political realm has to deal with these types of crazies, but it's truly pathetic that A: they're so terrified of this investigation that they'd commit a felony in an effort to see it silenced, and B: They think this has any chance of intimidating a man like Gowdy. Like it or not, lefties, Gowdy's on his way....
