Meanwhile, is a 69-year-old woman who can't remain standing at a reasonably lengthy event on a mild day healthy enough to be president?

Everyone's talking about it, but if you haven't seen it as it actually happened, here you go: The official line from Hillary's campaign is that she "overheated," whatever that means on a day when it's 74 degrees. I assume this is a lie because it came from Hillary's campaign. What else do they do? I also offer no particular medical theories about what's going on here, or if anything is. It's not my field of expertise and I don't know.
But analyzing what the news media will do is my field of expertise, so I will tell you this: The mainstream media will buy the explanation of Hillary's campaign lock, stock and barrel. They will engage in scrutiny, but not of Hillary's health nor of the assurances they're receiving about it. Rather, they will scrutinize what they term to be "right-wing conspiracy theories about Hillary's health," breathlessly informing us that these theories are reckless and unfounded and have been "debunked," whether the theories actually exist at all. Meanwhile, is a 69-year-old woman who can't remain standing at a reasonably lengthy event on a mild day healthy enough to be president? It seems a question worth asking. Then again, someone should ask if she's honest enough or competent enough, and no one asks those questions either. Probably because they know in every case the answer is no.
