If the Obama administration is to be believed, Barack Obama - the most intelligent, hands-on President in history - is pretty much in the dark about everything that happens within his administraton. No matter what the scandal is, Obama knew nothing about it. He only learns of federal overreach once a story makes its way to CNN.
For Obama, "I found out from watching the news, just like all of you" has become something of a mantra.
We first heard this idiotic excuse when the folks aboard Air Force thought it would be fun to buzz New York City. Then we heard it again when we found out about Fast & Furious, the IRS targeting scandal, and the DOJ spying on the AP. You would think, by now, that the administration would be embarrassed that it keeps having to syphon water from this well.
You'd be wrong, though, because:
Yep. Despite the fact that his 2008 transition team was warned that the administration could not trust wait-time data from the VA, he only learned about their bogus paperwork "through the reports."
It's a good thing Obama watches a lot of news. If he didn't, he might not have any idea what his underlings were up to!
