For the third month in a row in 2010, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. continues to have record-breaking sales. With a month-over-month increase of 24.9 per cent, March marked the 14th consecutive month of best-ever months for Hyundai.

With 11,012 units sold, the company surpassed sales in March of 2009 by 2,194 units. This concludes a commanding Q1 performance, with an overwhelming 25,598 units in sales - up 25.9 per cent from Q1 2009. "As we end Q1, we are pleased with continued sales success - in particular, with our all-new models, the 2010 Tucson and the 2011 Sonata," said Steve Kelleher, president and CEO, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. "Canadian drivers are looking for quality and value - and they are finding it as well as style, particularly in Hyundai's new product line." The all-new 2010 Tucson and all-new 2011 Sonata - both sporting Hyundai's global Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy - are redefining Hyundai's position in their segments. The brand new 2011 Sonata, unveiled at last month's Canadian International Auto Show, had an increase of 23.4 per cent sales from one year ago. With a best month of sales since 2006, the 2010 Tucson had an amazing 127.7 per cent in sales, from March 2009.
