So, did Hillary just squander her final shot at offering the mainstream media a genuine apology? A quick glance at today's news seems to suggest that may be the case. We've already heard from David Axelrod. Now that we have this clip from Andrea Mitchell, I'm starting to think they've shifted gears from "tired of Hillary's garbage" to "completely fed up with her whole shtick."

Note that they still want to be sympathetic to her, but it's impossible for them to explain away the destruction of the "Blue Wall." Here's the interesting thing: Democrat failures in the Midwest are only partially Hillary's fault.
Sure, she's unlikable, yes, she was a bad candidate, and fine, she failed to campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin. You can't discount that. However simply blaming Hillary is to ignore the bigger picture. The Democrat party - and its agenda - have been entirely co-opted by the radical base. They spent years catering to the 'fringiest' of their party's fringe elements, and it resulted in middle-America turning away.
So, allow me to speculate that what the Dem-friendly media is doing here isn't "introspection." It's an effort to lay blame upon something other than the sacred cows of their agenda. They won't sacrifice their statist goals, so it's time to lay the entirety of their collapse upon Clinton.
