Untrustworthy.

No, Hillary, ISIS isn't using Trump videos to recruit - they're using videos featuring your husband

If you watched Saturday night’s debate, well, we pity you. Fortunately, the audience was small, so the damage done to America’s collective intellect and sanity was relatively contained. Let’s face it; if you’re thinking about voting for Hillary or Bernie Sanders, you’ve already drawn the short straw in that regard. So, no harm no foul.

Still, if you tuned in, you bore witness to a slew of “senior moments.” Yes, Hillary wandered away from the stage at one point, but that wasn’t the worst of it.  The nadir of her performance occurred when she said the following:

“I worry greatly that the rhetoric coming from the Republicans, particularly Donald Trump, is sending a message to Muslims here in the United States — and literally around the world — that there is a clash of civilizations, that there is some kind of Western plot or war against Islam, which then, I believe, fans the flames of radicalization.”

“He is becoming ISIS’s greatest recruiter. They are going to people, showing videos of Donald Turmp insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”

Since the debate, Trump has been appearing all over the place. He’s calling Hillary a liar and demanding an apology.  As per usual, he’s been particularly vocal on Twitter - where his feed is filled with a steady stream of barbs that seek to cement the widely held opinion that Hillary is untrustworthy.

Hopefully, he’s not holding his breath, because that’s not how the Clintons do things. The words “I’m sorry” aren’t part of their normal vocabulary.

However, while he may not get his desired mea culpa, at least Politifact has taken his side. They’ve also called her out:

Clinton said that ISIS is “going to people showing Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”

We were unable to find any evidence to support this. The Clinton campaign did not provide any evidence that this is already happening—only that it could be happening, or that it may in the future. If ISIS was using Trump for recruitment videos, we would expect a frenzy of media coverage over it. We rate this claim False.

So yes; Hillary has been caught in yet another in her endless string of lies. The sad thing about it? ISIS is using someone in their recruiting videos, and that person is near and dear to Hillary’s heart. In fact, he’s her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

In a recent recruitment clip, ISIS outlines its goals, describes its enemies and boasts of its long ties to a mysterious religion Democrats refer to as “not-Islam.” Bill Clinton shows up when they discuss the ways their enemies fight for “fornicators.” In other words, it’s not Trump who’s egging them on, it’s a former Democrat President, a would-be First Husband, and his well-documented “less than morally upstanding” behavior.

The fun part of this is: Hillary took an event that most people would never have seen (due to its ridiculous timeslot) and turned it into yet another opportunity for her opponents to attack.

Congratulations, Democrats, you must be very proud of your only legitimate candidate.

I considered not running this, but it’s up on most other news & opinion sites and it’s important to know your enemy.  So, here’s the video in question. It’s called “no respite”:
