Rosa Brooks advocated sedition. She needs to own up to it

Obama appointee urges coup against President Trump, then lies, whines about blowback

-- BOMBTHROWERS After urging the violent ouster of President Trump, former senior Obama administration official Rosa Brooks is now whining about receiving the harsh criticism she so richly deserves. Brooks just wrote a piece at the truly awful Foreign Policy magazine with the title, “And Then the Breitbart Lynch Mob Came for Me:
For 15 years, I’ve spoken out against executive overreach. But in the Trump era, even theoretical criticism puts a target on your back.” Oh boo hoo hoo. Maybe Brooks should have thought about her seditious statements before making them. The radical leftist’s new post begins
Here’s how lynch mobs form, in the age of the alt-right and “alternative facts.” First, you inadvertently wave a red flag at an arena full of bulls. Then you sit back and wait for the internet to do its dark magic. In my case, the red flag was a few paragraphs at the end of a recent column, speculating on what would happen if Donald Trump truly and dangerously lost his marbles. I wondered about one “possibility … that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup, or at least a refusal by military leaders to obey certain orders”: Of course Brooks is lying about how it was just “a few paragraphs at the end of a recent column, speculating on what would happen if Donald Trump truly and dangerously lost his marbles.” She’s lying to mitigate the damage she did.

In fact, in her piece a few days ago titled, “3 Ways to Get Rid of President Trump Before 2020: Why you need to read the 25th Amendment now,” Brooks wrote right at the outset that Trump was already nuts, not that at some point in the future he might “truly and dangerously [lose] his marbles.” (See my previous post on the original Brooks article.) She wrote:
Are we really stuck with this guy? It’s the question being asked around the globe, because Donald Trump’s first week as president has made it all too clear: Yes, he is as crazy as everyone feared.
Here is a screen grab of the passage:

So if you couple the fact that Brooks thinks President Trump is “crazy” right now with her advocacy of a military-led coup d’état it’s pretty clear she isn’t just some innocent theorist talking smack. Rosa Brooks advocated sedition. She needs to own up to it.
