Obama at National Prayer Breakfast: Hey, Christians did things just as bad as ISIS, you know

My God. While ISIS is burning people alive, our president wants us to know we shouldn't get all impressed with ourselves and think we're any better than they are.

Seriously, while the best he can say about ISIS is that he wants to "degrade" the possibly most sadistic killers the world has ever seen, he sure as hell wants you Christians to know that you've been pretty horrible yourself throughout human history. I seriously don't even know what to do with this. It's obviously part of his never-ending attempt to pretend jihad is somehow not really Islamic, and by citing everything from the crusades to slavery to Jim Crow, he thinks he can make the case that ISIS is no more Islamic than those people were Christian. Of course, that's complete nonsense. If Obama really knew his Bible, which he clearly doesn't, he would know that you can't even stretch the Scriptures to justify any of the atrocities he wants to attribute to out-of-control Christians. By contrast, the jihadists are very much a part of Islam, which is exactly why there is so much terrorism originating in the part of the world where Islam is dominant. Where are all the equivalent acts of terrorism being committed in the West ostensibly in the name of Christ? You can't think of any? That's because they don't exist. If Obama was really a Christian as he claims, he would recognize that the Spirit of the Lord is the source of light and peace in the believer's heart, and and he would recognize that Islam is a false religion that contains no such authentic light of love, which explains precisely why it has become so violent. Instead, he stands there and mumbles incomprehensibly about how wrong it is to "think God only listens to us" or whatever that was supposed to mean. News flash: One of the most horrific forces of evil that mankind has ever seen is on the loose in the Middle East right now. They are Islamic. They are monsters. And rather than stopping them, the president of the United States is yammering on at a "prayer breakfast" about how the followers of Jesus Christ really aren't any better. I don't even know what to do with this guy anymore. Unreal.
