From a Vera Bradley print item upon check-in and a signature pink curetini to a private cabana rental and a round of golf on one of two championship courses, Clubs for a Cure raises awareness for breast cancer while allowing the girls to let loose and enjoy a weekend escape from the norm. The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer was established in 1998 and has raised more than $10 million for The Vera Bradley Center for Breast Cancer Research. Girlfriends can test their mettle on either of the two Greg Norman-designed championship golf courses, the National or International, or on Champions 9, the resort’s lighted 9-hole, par 3 pitch and putt course, followed by a Golfer’s Massage or Pink Grapefruit Spa Treatment at the European-style serenity spa. Relaxation continues at the formal pool with a private cabana rental including chaise lounges, plush towels, bathrobes, television, wi-fi, refrigerator stocked with beverages and two fruit smoothies. To round off the weekend, girlfriends dine together at one of Omni Orlando’s five on-site restaurants and toast their pink martinis to a healthy life and a cure for breast cancer.
