I’m committed to maintaining the Constitutional balance of power and the authority that this legislative branch has, and I just don’t think it’s appropriate that Mr. Holder be here. If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department’s subpoenas, they would be in jail and not sitting here in front of me, testifying.Frankly, a failure to comply with subpoenas would be the last of Holder's problems were he a private citizen. If he weren't at the top of the law enforcement food chain, Fast & Furious would probably already have put him behind bars as an international gun-running accomplice. Regardless, it's nice to see a Republican Congressman show a little chutzpah - especially to Eric Holder's face. Well done, Mr. Farenthold. If I were you, I'd assume you will now find yourself near the top of the "undesirables" list. Be careful what you say, write, and text from now on, because everything is probably tapped.
