Having dealt with the foundational stones of God, religion, and truth in R-E-S-P-E-C-T Parts 1 and 2, there are other foundations regarding RESPECT that need to be addressed.
The third foundational stone of any civilized culture or society is for each person to have total RESPECT for themselves as a member of society. RESPECT for God and RESPECT for the truth must also be bolstered by self RESPECT. A person cannot RESPECT others until they first RESPECT themselves.
People who have chosen to perpetually live on the streets in North America are examples of those who have given up their self RESPECT. It wasn’t taken from them; they gave it up. The people that stand on the corner with their signs begging for help often do it on corners with a fast food outlet that has a “Help Wanted” sign out. They too have given up their self RESPECT or they are scammers who very well may drive better cars than the people they are scamming.
Although there are many people on the streets who would rather not be “houseless” as the woke prefer to call the homeless, the American governments (city, county, state, and federal) have made it too easy for people to abandon their self RESPECT and become comfortable on government handouts.

The “war on poverty,” a creation of the United States federal government, has done more to perpetuate poverty than solve poverty. Poverty has gone further downhill since local and state governments started being “charitable.” This is another example of placing one more paver on the “good intentions road” to hell.
The last foundational stone is RESPECT for your fellow citizens. Every civilization or society requires a mutual RESPECT by all parties concerned. This is best symbolized by The Golden Rule we all learned as a child.

Throughout the history of mankind, mutual RESPECT has been the key element in peaceful coexistence in all cultures and societies. Where RESPECT is lost, tyranny of one sort or another, raises its ugly head.
The above RESPECT issues are the four foundation stones for a vibrant, healthy, peaceful, civilized, culture and society. If any of the stones are missing, what remains is tyranny of some sort. For a period of time it may appear to still be civilized and peaceful, but one slight misstep and violent uncivilized chaos and tyranny results. That is a recipe for revolution.
