Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced its record-breaking results for the month of February. Buoyant sales across its lineup of Subaru symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive vehicles reached 1,765 units, up 2.4 percent over last February.

It was also the best February ever for Impreza, WRX/STI and Outback models. A 25.9 percent increase in WRX/STI sales over last February bested the previous record, set in 2009, by 9.7 percent, while Impreza sales jumped up 15.4 percent from the same month last year, marking a 5.5 percent increase from the previous record set the year before. Robust Outback sales were also up 16.5 percent over last February. "ALG (Automotive Lease Guide) recently named Subaru the Best Mainstream Brand for highest overall predicted resale value for the second year in a row while also awarding us individual segment awards for our Impreza, WRX/STI and Outback models," said Shiro Ohta, president and CEO of SCI. "In addition, recent awards such as Motoring 2011's Best Sports/Performance Car of the year for our WRX/STI and Outback's win in Canadian Black Book's Best Retained Value Awards have opened even more consumers' eyes to the true value inherent across our well-balanced lineup."
