In his speech at St. Patrick's Cathedral Pope Francis provided a list of those suffering in our World who are or should be the receivers of the true charity of the Church.

Perhaps it is my failing hearing, but I did not hear him denote the following persons as such sufferers needing the help (and protection) of Christians: Those (especially Eastern Rite Catholics and members of the Orthodox Churches) who have been murdered, raped, tortured and driven from their 2000-year-old communities. I most especially did not hear him DECLARE that this suffering, especially the forced migration of people-and-peoples, is a direct result of the acts of the most loyal-and-orthodox followers of the false-prophet Mohammed. Perhaps, Pope Francis would do better to:
  1. Become and stay aware of the above-noted crimes-against humanity and civilization;
  2. Read and fully consider Jesus' commands to His followers documented in Luke 22: 35-38; And,
  3. Study St. Bernard of Clairvaux's (A "Doctor Of The Church") De Laude Militae Novae, and specially consider: His declaration that it is sometimes necessary to "Strike (Deadly) blows for Christ"; And, that the enemies of the very Christian warriors he praised are those same, Jihad-waging, monsters as so trouble, corrupt and despoil today's World.
