VIDEO: Home invaders learn a deadly lesson when their intended victim fires back

If Hillary Clinton gets her way, the concept of firearm ownership as an individual right will be eliminated. That's not up for debate. She, her campaign, and her daughter have repeatedly signaled that she'll appoint Supreme Court justices who will overturn D.C. vs Heller as part of her ongoing effort to gut the 2nd Amendment. Never mind that law-abiding citizens use firearms for self-defense every single day. Your ability to defend your family, home, and property irrelevant. Her agenda is all that matters. One wonders what she'd say to the woman who appears in the video below - a woman whose life was probably saved by her individual right to own a firearm.
From WSB Atlanta:
Police are hoping someone can help identify two home invaders. They were caught on camera as a woman in the house shot at them. "She exercised her right to defend her livelihood and property," Cpl. Deon Washington with the Gwinnett County Police Department told Channel 2’s Nicole Carr. Surveillance video from inside the home shows the Gwinnett County woman rush from her bedroom and then unloads all her bullets on the three men who kicked in her front door. The woman is a local restaurant manager who was staying in a housemate's Spring Drive home for work-related reasons. She heard the three intruders break into the home around 4 a.m. Friday. Video shows the men have guns clearly in hand.

One of the invaders is dead, two others are still on the loose. Hillary, and her leftist allies, would probably make some inane argument about how their gun control plans would keep weapons out of criminal hands. Why, those three intruders wouldn't have had guns if Clinton had her way. One of them would still be alive and we could all sing kumbaya. That's ridiculous for a couple of reasons: First, the vast majority of gun crime is committed with an illegally obtained firearm. Gun control won't keep Saturday night specials out of intruders' hands. It will only neuter their victims. Second, even if it somehow would keep criminals from getting guns, it won't do anything to stop violent crime. Would this woman have been in a better position has she been unarmed, squaring off against three intruders with knives or bats? Of course not.

The woman and her housemate were threatened with lethal force and they responded in kind. If progressives had their way, the victims would have been defenseless and, by the time police arrived, their attackers would have done God-knows-what to them. Kudos to this woman for protecting herself. The inarguably individual right to firearm ownership must not be infringed.
