imageWhile Michelle and Barack dawdled over dinner marking their 17th wedding anniversary at the Blueduck Tavern restaurant last night, these were just two of the things happening elsewhere in the world: Ten American troops were killed in two surprise attacks in Afghanistan that caused alarm in Nato’s US-led coalition. “The attacks also came at a crucial juncture in the eight-year-old war, with President Obama soon to decide whether to accept a request by general Stanley McChrystal, the commander of the 100,000 strong US and NATO force in Afghanistan, for 40,000 extra troops, or to scale back the counter-insurgency operation and focus narrowly on crushing al-Qaeda.” (TimesOnline, Oct. 4, 2009). In the western region of Indonesia, a country in which Barack Obama lived as Barry Soetoro, people were using their hands to dig up corpses in the aftermath of the massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake.

No humility was depicted in the AFP photo of the Obamas leaving the Blueduck Tavern and returning to the presidential motorcade parked out front. Nor was there much comfort in the Thomas Jefferson quote on the Blue Duck Tavern’s website: “Taste cannot be controlled by law.” Were the first-anniversary-in-Whitehouse celebrants inside the Blue Duck discussing how to capitalize on the fallout from Friday’s failed Chicago Olympic bid? One day after Copenhagen, people have been waiting for the Obamas to blame their failure in Denmark on Bush and racism. It didn’t take long for the other shoe to drop. The Chicago Sun-Times had already run with the headline “Chicago torpedoed by anti-U.S. sentiment?” “Some Chicago officials say anti-American resentment likely played a role in Chicago’s Olympic bid dying in the first round Friday. “President Obama could not undo in one year the resentment against America that President Bush and others built up for years, they said.” The anti-America sentiment against America was built up for years by community organizers Barack and Michelle Obama, the radical Obama czars now running America from behind the scenes and the other assorted moonbats and malignant malcontents, the Obamas call friends. Michelle’s embarrassingly self-centered Copenhagen speech in which she claimed to have sat on her Daddy’s lap hearing about Olympic athletes of the day when she was, in fact 20 years of age, bombed in Copenhagen. Sob sister Oprah Winfrey and slum landlord Valerie Jarrett couldn’t help her pull off the con. Obama exposedOn the word stage, Obama was no longer King of the World, and people back home were already saying, “Mmm, mmm, mmm. Maybe, he can’t walk on water either.” Presidential Press secretary Robert Gibbs rejected the notion that the vote was influenced by the United states’ standing: “No, I think you saw both at the U.N General Assembly, you saw at the G20 last week...I think virtually every measure of our standing in the world is different than it was just this time last year.” You got that right, Gibby: Obama’s curtain was dramatically pulled back on the world stage. There was no King of the World and no Messiah standing there, only community organizer Barack Obama, aka Barry Soetoro.
