The Hadley hacking will be forever considered a turning point in science with enormous social implications. All ready, everything in climate science is divided by the pre-Hadley and post-Hadley perspective. Science has the clear choice of a Cray XT6 petascale computer or some backroom full of hucksters with a deck of Tarot cards.
There is some media hand wringing over the feelings of the members of the Jones-Mann-Hansen syndicate. My sympathies for their loss are measured against all the suffering that their success would have caused. May the ‘Scarlet AGW’ be placed on all who offer the failed warmist cause any defense.
