Finding our Inner Maximus

On behalf of my beautiful wife, and our 3 ½ and 1 year old precious daughters, I watch in daily horror as our country is being attacked and destroyed from within, by our very own government. As a former USAF Captain, Instructor Pilot, Desert Storm Veteran, Air Medal Recipient with 33 combat missions, Investment Banker and current small business owner, I now find myself a government target. Citizens like you and I are being purposefully re-defined, in a highly coordinated and pre-meditated manner, as racist, bitter “Tea Party” terrorists, religious zealots and “out of the main stream” radicals by liberal politicians and media elites advocating for Socialism.

Our heinous crime is the voicing of our dissent. The grotesque level of political corruption, illegality, deception and outright political contempt for me and you is a total disgrace. Each elected member of our Congress swears the following oath. Bolded areas highlight daily violations of their personal oaths before God.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Our sitting President has repeatedly stated, on video and audio, that he passionately believes the Constitution of the United States is a flawed document, offers only “negative rights” and fails to outline “what the government can do” for citizens.  On the issue of specific and clearly identified, limited federal government powers, he’s exactly right.  Our US Constitution was meticulously designed to limit power hungry, government politicians from intruding upon the individual American citizens' pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness. Our Founding Fathers purposefully designed our Constitution to limit the size and scope of our government.  Obama is attacking, not defending, the very design of our Constitution, in direct opposition to his oath of office.  Obama's entire campaign was designed to purposefully evade the public regarding his stated intentions not to support and defend our US Constitution, but to "fundamentally transform it." Obama, Pelosi, Reid and virtually every elected Democratic Congressperson have repeatedly displayed their mental reservations and are purposefully evading their individual oaths to support and defend our Constitution.  They are simply not bearing true faith and allegiance to the oath they swore before God.  To not support and defend our US Constitution is to not support and defend the American way of life. This highly organized, coordinated dereliction of duty and breach of faith with the American public must be fully communicated in a manner that all citizens can easily understand and relate to.  The consequences of failing to accurately inform our fellow citizens will result in the death of America. The most painful realization I have reached is the intention to overtly and brazenly attack and destroy our US Constitution and American way of life has been in the planning stages for many decades.  Obama is currently playing Quarterback for the team playing against America.  And he's a very skillful signal caller. I pray that Team America can defeat Team Obama.  Yes, just as Rush famously stated, I do hope he fails.  Or else, the American way of life will perish. Each of us, in our own unique manner, must assume the role of Maximus, made famous by Russell Crowe in the movie, Gladiator. We must focus all our energy, efforts and talents in pursuit of the ultimate battle for freedom. Join me in prayer, education and peaceful resistance in defense of our great nation, will you?
