imageSome people work hard for their supper. Sir Paul McCartney sings for his. Some people work up a sweat just getting ‘er done. The only sweat McCartney ever breaks is when the lights are on the stage. Some people are gracious in accepting Library of Congress sanctioned awards. Some people choose that occasion to be ungracious, poking malicious fun of a USA president not only no longer in office, but not there to defend himself.

Some people serenade the likes of arrogant, self-centered Barack Obama through is wife, Michelle. Some people would call that pandering. Some people venture into what the UK Mirror describes as “dodgy-no-go” areas of Mexican towns. Some people would kindly and sensibly avoid areas of Mexican towns where the media can later describe “thugs” mugging mega bucks tour buses, the like of which poverty-stricken youngsters have never seen before. Some people would have enough humility to be embarrassed about London’s Hard Rock Cafe’s “Meatless Mondays” when it is well known you can always chow down on meat on other days of the week. Some people would call that Hypocrisy 101. Some people have both the time and the finances to try to shove vegetarianism down the throats of the bread-and-butter masses. Some people called “Single Mothers” rely on hamburger and Kraft Dinner to feed hungry mouths. Some people think that just because they have star-power celeb status they can use more than their music talent to forever lecture the unwashed masses. Some people wish Sir Paul would stick to performing rather than lecture us from the top of the celebrity mountain. Some people forget the words of their own music without being critiqued for having another “senior moment”. Some people forget where they put their prescription for necessary medicine. Those people run the risk of being put in an institution on the pretext they might have the first symptoms of dreaded Alzheimer's. Some people live in a harsh world where they do not know from where their next meal is coming. Some people don’‘t care that America now living the words of Lady Madonna. Some people party at the White House in the middle of the worst Recession since the Dirty '30s. Some people worry about losing jobs and control of the mortgage or rent. Some people live in a Pretend World hobnobbing with British royalty and rubbing elbows with Hollywood plastic. Some people may worry that a fast life with drugs will take you from a boyish face to one that makes you look like not a very pretty Granny. Some people will be glad when Sir Paul returns to his organic farm where he can lecture those he considers as real people: the cows and the sheep.
