Obama’s fury about the oil spill disaster is like the rest of him: phony

Obama’s manufactured fury

imageHaving a hard time envisioning a “furious” President Barack Obama. Obama, according to the latest saga in the Legend of the Deep Water Horizon, is being described by the media as “furious”. As Golde told Tevye, who had promised her an out-of-character display of his anger in the immortal scene from Fiddler on the Roof, “We’re getting ready to shake in our boots.”

How does one know when an unabashed Metrosexual gets angry? Does he throw the basketball any harder? Does he take up more turf with his errant golf swing? For certain, he doesn’t throw temper tantrums around Michelle. It’s not “furious” that fishermen want to see, but a sure and effective stop to the oil flow. Obama’s fury doesn’t stop the ache that comes in the human heart from seeing birds and animals unable to fly or move due to the oil slick coating them. Freedom lovers the world over, and American patriots in particular, have been living for 18 months with Obama’s “furious”. It’s the slow burning, destructive kind that takes down business and jobs. They have watched as Obama resolutely pulls the wings off a country the rest of the world looks up to. America has long been a beacon of hope to people in countries repressed by the same kind of socialism he wants for America; to people who hold on through the dream of a better life for their children and grandchildren. America, the Beacon of Hope, was there even as two socialist activists were living the good life in Chicago; the charmed lives of Barack and Michelle Obama, who led a life of privilege, but emerged resenting the country that afforded them that privilege. Obama’s fury about the oil spill disaster is like the rest of him: phony. While he may rue the necessity of having to put off yet again his long planned trip to Indonesia and Australia, the rue for millions of ordinary Americans is that Obama is still there in the White House, where he will remain until at least 2012. 2012 is forever when you’ve lost your job and cannot keep up with the mortgage or rent. The fury of Obama’s victims is the kind that has to be swallowed like a medicine you just know is going to poison you and end any remaining peace and well being. The fury personally dropped on the unwitting by Obama is the kind that sees him traveling to other countries where he puts down the very country he was elected to serve. When the self-serving Obamas unwind, it’s with self-centered celebrities dining on wagyu beef at the White House while the poor people they pretend to care about take another Kraft Dinner out of the kitchen pantry. Worse, the fury of the Obamas can never be extinguished because it was built on a lifetime of resentment. Yet, it’s the kind of fury that makes the rest of us giggle when we see how the strategy that placed a president in Illinois rather than Arlington brought God’s own Rain down on his imperious head. Meanwhile, the only one shaking in his boots at the fury of Obama is Barack Hussein Obama.
