Ladies and gentlemen: This is, like Ronald Reagan said in a 1964 video, is a time for choosing. At that time, Ronald Reagan was campaigning for Presidential Candidate Barry Goldwater. This was fully sixteen years before Reagan, himself, became President. Reagan clearly saw the dangers of Marxist-socialism posed at that time as an external enemy. Reagan fought Communism during his entire adult life. How ironic that 46 years since the time of Barry Goldwater, and 22 years after the Reagan Presidency, we find ourselves fighting Marxist-socialism an emerging internal enemy. This is indeed a "Second Time for Choosing."

It is time to re-assert our claim to be that free and "shining city on a hill." We Americans must rise up, speak out, and act. It is time to put a political stake through the heart of this Marxist-socialist Vampire of Big Government once and for all. There can be no more hiding after this election. We must expose the Left for who they are and what they are doing. Our freedoms and our way of life are at stake!
Various historians tell us that perhaps 30-40% of the Colonial American population supported the Founders and their Revolution. Perhaps 30% were loyal to King George III. The remaining 30% were either luke-warm, or just wanted the political turmoil to go away. Less than 10%, it is estimated, actually fought for our independence against Britain. Precious few willing to sacrifice their prestige, their fortune, or both for the cause. Yet the Patriots prevailed! These historical statistics may not all be that different from the statistical realities of today. Hopefully, these goals of political restoration can be fully accomplished over the next three elections: 2010, 2012, 2014. Eternal vigilance will be required thereafter; politics is anything but static.
Let us resolve to go to the polls in November and elect Patriots. Send the Progressives and Liberals into any number of retirement options: Defeat them, Term Limit them, Impeach them, or Recall them for violating their Oaths to the Constitution and for attempting to subvert our way of life. Let's begin work earnestly starting on July 4th and turn this country around, get people back to work defend our borders, and stop this backsliding towards state-run slavery. It may be our last best hope. It could well be our last free election if we fail.
