imageOnly a tyrant masquerading as president could hint at his goal for blanket amnesty during the July 4th weekend. Obama’s messages to his own people always come in black-edged envelopes. He wanted a HealthCare Bill that would be signed, sealed and delivered on Christmas Eve. Having failed, he went on to deliver the bill one week before Palm Sunday, and has been gloating ever since. Not for Obama to hurl the wrecking ball at America any day of the year when symbolism can add so much more to the sting of pain.

Eighteen months on and there’s no mistake about the hatred and spite with which Obama conducts business. But you can break the spell of Obama on your life by going to live in that place he can never get at you. It’s called gathering your loved ones about you and teaching them how to survive if the worse ever becomes the worst. Waiting Obama out is a practical strategy. If the worse comes to the worst and even if a crisis cancels mid-term elections, you have already gathered your wagons around you. You will have long since gathered your family and friends around you and have prepared for the worst by doing practical things. As determined as Obama seems in the transformation of America, time is against him. He cannot destroy the Free World, or wipe out populations overnight. Through the nights of darkness, some can still see that the political strategy of the Obama Regime is to demoralize. Unelected Czars with decades old grudges are digging deep into their bag of tricks to demoralize average Americans. Their tactics are bush league compared to the monsters of Marxism who have tried to suppress freedom in other parts of the world down through the ages. Imposed Communism was held back, not by guns or knives in Estonia but by the singing of millions.
Communism was held back in Poland by a humble and courageous priest known as Karol Wojtyla, who, year after year with other priests, celebrated Christmas Mass in an open field where the Communists had refused the building permit for the Nowa Huta Church. “In May 1977, one year before he became Pope--almost 20 years after the first request for a building permit--Karol Wojtyla finally consecrated the yearned for peoples’ church. “What the worshippers were most proud of--and it was a symbol Karol Wojtyla helped make into a reality--is the gigantic crucifix that hangs over the new altar. It was made out of shrapnel that had been taken from the wounds of Polish soldiers, collected and sent from all over the country to make the sculpture for the new church. “From the first day of his election, John Paul II’s pontificate raised concern in Central Committee headquarters. The Canadian reporter, Eric Margolis, described it this way: `I was the first Western journalist inside the KGB headquarters in 1990. The generals told me that the Vatican and the Pope above all was regarded as their number one, most dangerous enemy in the world’, states a John Paul II biography posted on the Vatican website. Decades later, Pope John Paul II told his people: “Always be convincing witnesses to the truth; Stir into a flame the gift of God...Light your nation--Light the world--with the power of that flame. Amen.” In the 18 months of Obama in the White House we all feel the chill when hearing on an almost daily basis, “Obama’s going to do this; Obama’s going to do that”.... One of the most frightening warnings currently doing the rounds is that Obama has been given autocratic control of the switch to turn off the Internet. Get out the paste and posters if that ever happens. Get ready to leave homemade posters and pamphlets at the local library, in the school cafeteria, in church and at the football and basketball stadiums. In their day, the founding fathers got their message out through simple pamphleteering. People down through time immemorial have always found ways to keep each other informed, to keep each other in touch. Live in that place where Obama and his highhanded Czars can never get to you, in the embrace of your family, in the protection of the Lord. As powerful as he reminds us he is, Obama can no more turn off the lights of the world than he can walk on water. Let faith and belief in yourself and your country trump fear and anxiety. Stay within that realm that always mattered, love of family, God and country and wait Obama out.
