God at Home for people who can’t make Restoring Honor Rally

imageAccording to doomsayers, the chickens have come home to roost and soon there will be no chickens for everyone’s pot. The promised Summer of Recovery has come to this on the day that begins the last weekend of summer: “Government Set to Confirm What Many Feel: Economy at a Standstill,” FoxNews, Aug. 27, 2010.

“The Commerce Department this morning is expected to report revised GDP figures that confirm what many Americans are already feeling: the nation’s economic growth is at a near standstill--and slow economic growth doesn’t bode well for employment, raising fears that the nation’s jobless rate, now at 9.5 percent, could climb even higher.”
This news comes at a time when President Barack Obama and wife Michelle are gorging themselves on lobster and shrimp on summer holidays in Massachusetts. Yet there’s a silver lining to the doom and gloom. Caught in the glare of the spotlight, Obama and Company are no longer moving targets. There’s no longer any doubt about it: They lied about the economy and so many other things. There is no Summer of Recovery. The economy is at a near standstill. No matter how voracious your appetite, there are only so many lobsters you can eat. Only Peter Pan can stay a boy forever. Obama’s priority of demoralizing America notwithstanding, average folks, who must go about their own business for survival, stopped watching his play. More importantly, the Obamas have to come in from play, and barring a manufactured crisis, November 2 looms. Now that the entire world hasn’t come to an abrupt end because the President of the United States “forcefully” endorsed the Mosque at Ground Zero, what’s next? No matter what’s next from the bountiful Marxist bag of tricks, Americans will continue to put their families first. Lobster and shrimp gorging during concurrent holidays isn’t everybody’s idea of escapism. Staying off the radar of Big Government and keeping on truckin’, no matter how hard the times, are the favored escapism for average people. Some people think “getting even” is “forcefully” endorsing a mosque on sacred ground, ruining the economy and coming on like the uncrowned King of the World. Others will just get out and cast their vote for people they think will give their country a better chance for survival. No signs won’t stop tens of thousands from having that ideal in mind when they gather in unity at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial tomorrow for the Restoring Honor 8/28 Rally. “Bring your hearts, bring your open minds, bring your kids, that’s important,” Beck urged Americans on FoxNews last night. “We’ve lost our way because we have lost God. The answer is God.” The drums and fifes from 9/12 can still be heard over the Capitol. They are calling out not just to the attendees of the Restoring Honor 8/28 Rally, but to folks at home who couldn’t make it. That’s because you don’t have to be on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to hear the drums and fifes; and you don’t have to be there to find God. For those who can’t make it to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, He is at Home in Hearts sincerely looking.
