The Cult of the PC Police

The United States is entering a new and uncharted territory of Political Correctness that will test the limits of tolerance. By that I mean it will test the reactions of common sense conservatives as well as God-fearing citizens who have seen the erosion of common sense in every segment of life—from Washington, D.C. (which never had much common sense) to the very basic communities in which all of America inhabits.

Political Correctness is more a cult than a religion

Political Correctness is more a cult than a religion. That’s because the rabid followers of this cult are more devoted to expanding their policies than to gathering new converts. Indeed, much of the PC we experience has been implemented over the objections of the vast majority of Americans (considered “infidels” by the forces of political correctness). Take the ACLU, please! (Anti-Christ Lawyers Union). In defense of the constitution, through liberal interpretation and outright misunderstanding of the intention of the Founders of this country, the ACLU has been successful in making God incompatible with our school systems, with our public expressions of patriotism, and in case after case where Freedom of Religion succumbs to Freedom From Religion! The PC Cultists are deeply entrenched in our media. Newsrooms that once reported facts have long since become advocates of causes aligned with political correctness. The number of Newspaper Editorials in favor of the building of the Ground Zero mosque, recently the hottest topic in the news, showed a majority of them in favor of allowing this desecration to be built. Anyone against it was immediately labeled anti-Muslim, anti-Islam, and xenophobic. When NPR commentator and FOX contributor Juan Williams expressed a fear of flying with “Muslim-looking” passengers on board all hell broke loose. He was fired from NPR in a heartbeat. The cult was swift in its condemnation and justification—until—until America started fighting back. Reaction to this infringement on free speech colliding with political correctness was stunning. While common sense Americans had been angered many times before, the Juan Williams pink slip along with the Ground Zero nightmare seemed to turn the PC Cult on its head. The Tea Party adherents, described as “racists” by the ultimate racists in the NAACP, and denigrated by the president as “clinging to their guns and religion”, slowly became known to the media as reasonable Americans tired of excessive taxation, wasteful government spending, and an out of control Washington culture. The Politically Incorrect Tea Party along with a great conservative wave swept the dead wood out of Congress. From basic freedom of speech fights at the community level to the halls of the federal government, it seems the majority of Americans are finally sticking it to the PC Cult. While I’ve always believed PC to be a lie straight from the pit of Hell, the growing anger of average, common sense Americans standing up for the right to speak their minds without fear of reprisals should give us all hope that the real America, the ‘One Nation under GOD’ America, the God Bless America ‘America ‘, the’ In GOD we Trust’ America, is slowly on the rebound.

The friction will continue as politicians use race and religion to tear apart the fabric of this great country

The friction will continue as politicians use race and religion to tear apart the fabric of this great country. But the PC Cult, while far from defeated, is beginning to suffer setback after setback. It is my hope that those who worship at the altar of political correctness will begin to see the gods of PC crumble into a pile of rubble to be trampled on by the resurgence of a common sense America with the attitude that American Exceptionalism is something real, something to be proud of, and something to fight for!
