A Conservative Rap Song

If any administration was going to invite to the White House a rapper whose lyrics have supported a cop killer and advocated the killing of President George W. Bush, it would be this one, as demonstrated by its hosting this week of rapper Common. But why should rap “music” be the preserve of thugs who preach violence. How about a conservative rap song, like this:

He’s a socialist prez and his name is Barack; he has American freedom under attack. He was elected on speeches that mesmerized, but his lips are betrayed by his lying eyes. He came with a promise of hope and change, but his view of the country is very strange. He doesn’t see Uncle Sam as red, white and blue, only the red and then screw you. If you make your way in private enterprise, then you’re the kind of person that he’d despise. He looks down his nose at your ascent, if it wasn’t with involvement of the government. If you dare to succeed and make a lot of dough, then Obama considers you a White House foe. He wants to take your money and spread it around, to drive American initiative into the ground. When it comes to your health he thinks he knows best, but you’ll be waiting in line for the simplest test. You finally get to the doctor once you’re allowed, and hear, “The bureaucrat will see you now.” Private insurers may often have you pissed, but just you wait until they don’t exist. You’ll love ObamaCare and be filled with glee, if you like the Post Office and the DMV. When it comes to humility Obama’s bone dry; his speeches are filled with me, myself and I. You’d think he makes the sun come up and the moon come out, and all the other miracles we listen to him spout. When things go wrong it’s never this man’s failin’, it’s all the fault of “W” or maybe Sarah Palin. When things go right, like the shooting of Osama, he’d have us think the trigger man was none other than Obama. Where he’s trying to take this country, I don’t want to go; I’d rather do all I can to keep the freedom torch aglow. He wants to take America and cut it down to size, but when liberty’s at stake there can’t be any compromise. I don’t want his socialism, his contempt for all we are, his trying every day to dim America’s star. Of course they’ll call us racist, that’s the card they always play, but let’s do our best to beat Obama, and God bless the USA.
