After almost two and a half years of the absolutely worst Executive Branch leadership in the history of our country, the question above takes on new meaning. When I think about how in just that short amount of time, this phony with an equally phony certificate of birth posing as our Chief Executive has brought this country from its status as the greatest ever in the history of our planet, to an all-but-official socialist, debt-ridden, Sharia Law loving collection of para- Communists, I could just barf.
And I am convinced that almost every one of this country's current ills have been as a result of having Barack Hussein Obama (or Barry Soetoro) as its phony Constitution-killing and socialist-Sharia Law advocate aided by a wholly supplicant, similar thinking Congress for a full two years and a fifty-percent amount of anti-Americans for the past half year in Congress.
The real American citizens, beholden to a real American government based on what our Founding Fathers envisioned back in the second half of the 18th century, could make our country non-socialistic and unresponsive to Sharia Law very simply in 2012 by electing a Congress with enough of a majority in both houses to enfeeble filibusters in the Senate and over-ride a veto in the House.
This sort of protection against any additional tampering with our country's standard real American traditions as the current socialists from the top on down, would make the person elected to the presidency very much on the impotent side and for sure, subject more to the will of the people than is apparent currently.
It would take a lot of paper manipulating and hopes that we could collect enough common-sense real and verified United States citizens to meet the requirements of enacting a new Constitutional Amendment to just jettison the Office of the Presidency. So the easiest and most effective means of accomplishing it would be to elect a Congress of solid conservatives effectively outnumbering the socialist, liberal Democrats, and RINO's.
I had never thought this way nor had I ever thought that this country would elect a scalawag who would, with smooth but forked tongue, be able to accomplish the task of dismantling America before even half of the country was aware of what was happening. Mr. Obama had the necessary Alinsky training and tools available to get adopted by a group of ultra wealthy One Worlders, intent on destroying the United States and bringing it under the control of this money-plentiful group of socialists, and gain world-wide power.
But on reading an article on the Internet recently I found another person (I'm sure there are more) who feels the same as I do about this issue. I am not exactly sure if this is 'a person' or 'persons' but the article was written in the 'first person' with two "Bylines"; Coach Collins and Ron Reale. I haven't had time to research these names as yet to identify them, but it is of little consequence to this writing.
The article was published online at the 'coachisright.com' site with the title of "We Need To Emulate the Left, change the rules, change our focus" on May 12, 2011with the two by-lines as stated above. These two (or one speaking as another) are advocating that we "First, send not a dime to the Republican Party, or any RINO's running. If the nominee is "NEW DOLE," or "NEW McCAIN," (you know, Pawlenty, Romney, Daniels or any of the other RINO's), we need to change direction.
Next Collins/Reale suggest that we just ignore the presidential election, saying that that position "isn't the most important to our economic security or the continuation of America as a Capitalist system." And I wholeheartedly agree with him/them. However, I will say that the one in that seat right now is doing one great job of creating steps to the destruction of America as a Capitalist system, simply by aligning himself with the socialist Democrats in our Congress.
As I have been saying for some time now, they reiterate that the conservatives NEED the Senate in the next session of Congress and with a supermajority to match the House the POTUS "can push whatever agenda he/she wants, but without money, or "advise and consent" of the Senate, he/she is powerless."
I call it, figurehead status without official declarations; just where the current incumbent should be. "Pour the millions we would spend on a useless figurehead Presidential election into getting a veto-proof Senate. Put all efforts into showcasing the cost and damage of the policies of the Senators, left and right. The people are awake in small town America. Show them who is helping, and who is hurting, the country they love" say the duo of Coach Collins and Ron Reale.
They are right; if a RINO should happen to get the presidency there is no guarantee that he/she would Administer in a conservative mode for the great majority of the necessary decisions and we would have to undo any damage done to our economy, taxes, jobs and illegal alien complexities. It would be safer to nullify that office.
Now I realize that this might sound rebellious and somewhat more of what the Democrats might do; but think about it and I think if you're a real conservative, you will have to agree.
Gerald A. “Jerry” McConnell, 92, of Hampton, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 27, 1924 in Altoona, Pa., the fifth son of the late John E. and Grace (Fletcher) McConnell.
Jerry served ten years with the US Marine Corps and participated in the landing against Japanese Army on Guadalcanal and another ten years with the US Air Force. After moving to Hampton in 1957 he started his community activities serving in many capacities.
He shared 72 years of marriage with his wife Betty P. (Hamilton) McConnell. In addition to his wife, family members include nieces and nephews.
