If the Democrats are unwilling to lead then they need allow those that are willing to do so no matter the political fallout.

What Is The Plan Of The Democrats To Move Forward?

We have been seeing a lot of demagoguery , smear, and misinformation coming out of the Democrat party over budget proposals and budget cuts/reductions, but we have yet seen a definitive plan from the Democrats to how we will turn around this economy and reduce the overall debt burden.

The standard ploy and tactic is being used by this side but for the last two years it was the Democrat party that failed to have the fortitude to put forth and pass a fiscal budget for this country. It has been the Democrat party that has failed to be honest with the American public to inform them that reform and reductions in the most sacred cows in politics will and need to occur. Leading from behind and continually attempting to state that the economy is on a rebound has failed to stand up to the very fact that the standard quo is not working and will in the end bankrupt the very programs that they are stating that the Republican plan addresses.

The lies and outright scare tactics that the media and the Democrats are exhibiting

All the economic indicators show that the path that we have currently been on will lead us down the road to the eventual elimination of these sacred cows, the proposal by Congressman Ryan addresses these issues in a responsible way and will not harm those 55 years old and above. The lies and outright scare tactics that the media and the Democrats are exhibiting during this debate is spotlighting the fact, that they are not willing to come to reality that if these programs are not addressed in a timely manner and not kicked down the road as we are so accustomed to, that for political expediency they are willing to allow for the fact that these programs will be allowed to fail due to the inept attitude that they have shown time and again when it comes to fiscal responsibility and economic humility. We have attempted to inject money through the so called stimulus program that the Democrats and this administration forced upon the American public, but the program was not intended to stimulate the private sector. It only addressed the public sector and was a temporary patch, and time has expired in its effectiveness in this sector of the economy. Starting this summer layoffs are going to occur in the public sector that this money was injected into, the states that took this money used it to temporarily continue employment in various positions, but as their fiscal health was already in peril it did nothing to stem the long term decline of these positions, it only extended them for a short duration and that duration has expired. The mantra that this injection of capital into our economy would "Save or Create jobs" was misleading from the moment it was uttered! It was another catchy slogan though just like "Hope and Change" , but once again it was never defined or held accountable to how it would truly reflect the nation as a whole. We cannot survive on catch phrases and platitudes, the time has come to live in the reality that we have to start doing things to set our country back on a course that is sustainable and to do so we are going to have to do things that are not popular.

We all know the blame can be spread around evenly to both political parties

We all know the blame can be spread around evenly to both political parties in how we got into the mess that we are facing as a nation. No one is denying the fact that both the Democrats and the Republicans have allowed for the fiscal health of our nation to run amok. The clear difference at the moment is the fact that one party is not willing to address it in a responsible manner and the other party has factions that is willing to do so. The old guard of both party's will have to be led to the table kicking and screaming for us to do so, but at least one side is willing to begin the steps to do what needs to occur to set us on the path that we need to embark upon. The socialist direction that we have been on since the turn of the last century does not allow for this to happen. The private sector will be the only thing that will lift us out of our current situation and even many European countries are coming to this realization. Over the last 40 or so years we have been strangling the private sector through over regulation. Just take a look at how many agencies you have to deal with to do business in this country alone. Under the current administration you not only have to deal with the standard agencies ,but you have to deal with the under the table Czars that are unelected and unaccountable to the American public. All of this added to the fact that to protect the money flow from the Unions the Democrat party panders by not only excluding them from the monstrosity to the Tax payers of this nation and the Unconstitutional policies placed in the health care reform law, but used the this very law to cut $500,000,000 from Medicare. This is the very thing that w are seeing the loudest demagoguery from the media and the Democrats over the proposal that Congressman Ryan put forth.

The time has come to either be honest or get out of the way!

The time has come to either be honest or get out of the way! I ask once again what is the Democrat plan to move forward? The standard demagoguery and smear has run its course! I understand that it will be used and I understand they will attempt to use other tactics from racial baiting to sending out their pansies in the main stream media to pander to the fears that if we do not face the reality and keep the course that we are currently on that our economic woes will not get worse. History has proven time and again that they will get worse and that they will only be extended for a longer duration. Similar economic thinking under FDR only extended the duration of recovery from the Great Depression, many of the problems we face today are due to the new "entitlements" that were created by FDR and now the bill has come due to falling for the trap that Government and Socialism would be the safety net that would prop up our society so that it would be too big to fail. LBJ and the "Great Society" only added to the eventual problem and has been shown as a complete failure. We have had a so called war on poverty for many generations now and poverty still persists despite the Trillions of dollars that we have thrown at it. The so called safety net of Social Security was never intended to be a pension program but through marketing and disinformation many Americans have fallen for the trap that was set in place by FDR. The rollback of these policies and the many agencies that have been created since the Great Depression need to be addressed in an adult manner. Sending out the intimidation goons that are aligned with the Current Democrat Party will not get us back on a sound fiscal footing, moving down the road to complete socialism will not dig us out of the whole that we are in either.

Government needs to step back and allow the private sector to correct itself from business to housing

Government needs to step back and allow the private sector to correct itself from business to housing, increasing taxes and regulations will not allow for this to happen no matter how much fear and demagoguery that the left would like to exhibit to the public. The intimidation tactics exhibited by the Unions and by the Media will only go so far and does nothing to correct the race to the bottom! The Democrat Party was in charge of the fiscal reins since 2007 and when you look at any chart you can see the decline in all sectors across the board from that time to the present and it has to be questioned just why is that the case? For the last two years they were in complete control of the purse and they failed to even pass a budget, they pushed it off for political purposes and have dug the whole even deeper through policies and spending. Today all we get out of this side is the standard tactic of Granny will die and starve, while they fail to step forward and be responsible and lead. You can only lie to the public for so long before the public becomes aware of your lies. We are not on a path to recovery as the latest financial indicators show and two years is not working! Let the housing reach its bottom, let the private sector start to do what it needs to do to allow us to recovery and most of all get the government out of the way! If the Democrats are unwilling to lead then they need allow those that are willing to do so no matter the political fallout. What Is The Plan Of The Democrats To Move Forward?
