The United States of America is the only Nation founded on Jesus Christ and Christianity. We are the Promised Land, the Light on a Shining Hill, the Freest Nation in the World. Just as Israel is the Promised Land of the Jews, the generations of Abraham the United States of America are the Gentiles after Jesus, the blessed Promised One.

It is upon Jesus' definition of Freedom that our funding fathers established our nation. They set out to remove the human race from being under the rule of ANY MAN while leaving each individual accountable to God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Not even our brethren we were grafted together with, the Jews, are as free as us under the authority of Jesus. The United States of America is the ONLY Nation so free "souly" because of Jesus. Nowhere else have they governed a land by the principles contained in the New Testament like the United States of America has. We are akin to Israel in the way of being one nation opposed by most other nations for our beliefs and way. Jesus was as ridiculed and persecuted as He stated, Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also (John 15:20). Jesus and His way were welcomed in to guide the founders as they established the United States of America. Every state preamble gave thanks to God, the Father of our Savior and Messiah. He blessed us with Land, People and a Savior, the only nation recognizing the Savior Jesus Christ and founded upon His teachings. He brought the Light that so many before us have spoken of, the Shining Light on the Hill. As we celebrated July 4th, I think of what led those few to step out among the many to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no denying their belief in Jesus definition of freedom guided them as they created the documents that would mold our nation and unite us as a Free People under no one's authority, but God Himself. The principles and laws established weren't traps set up to chain free people, their taxes weren't so burdensome that their yokes made too heavy and the belief that everything was created by God and could be affected by their faith in Him alone, gave birth to the United States of America. Polls have shown that 80% of our nation claims to be of the Christian faith, but the Holy Bible, like our Constitution, has been reinterpreted and the message distorted. Politics has entered the religious establishment and our government has enlarged to the point they conspire against the people in unity. They attack those with firm beliefs rooted in Jesus Christ and have the support of roughly 190 other nations as they attack us from within. There may not have been 190 nations around during the time of our founding fathers, but then too every nation of people wished for their defeat. They came as slave owners planning to FREE the people they ruled over, which is why many of the founders were involved in the creation of the Republican Party. There was an element from within that resisted the changes, wanting to hold onto the power they had over the many making up society. Victory came and the chains of bondage were removed and we were finally the Freest Nation in the World with a bright shining light on the top of the hill. We are now at a crossroad in our nation and the light on the hill is dimming. The founders mentioned the possibility of this happening, not because they believed the government was bad and out to get people, but because they knew evil is rooted in the minds of men (people). Jesus hung around with the worst of them, having dinner with the tax collectors. Lawyers were described as dogs returning to their vomit and psychiatry as sorcery as they manipulated the mind (where evil dwells). He confronted the religious and government establishments directly and they persecuted Him for being so bold and acting in the authority given to Him by His Father. They hated Him for healing without their help or authority. They hated Him for inspiring people to believe that they were Free People and able to address God, the Mightiest of ALL, without their approval and involvement. They wanted to ensure no one could get the upper hand on them, but woe to them because the Upper Hand is upon them. God is still in control, Jesus is still the King of Kings and no one has more Authority than Him over anyone. Our nation may look like it's in shambles and that the battle is being lost, but that is not the Truth. Jesus said, "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst" Matthew 18:20 Our founding fathers had a mighty faith, not a mighty force. Through prayer they were guided, empowered and victorious. No mere men could have overcome so many obstacles to establish our nation, but by the power and wisdom of God Himself. God blessed our nation and we became a super power and the beacon of light to the rest of the world, giving hope and aid in abundance as we were blessed. The blessing didn't begin 235 years ago though, it began over 2000 years ago when Jesus was born. Had Jesus not been born our founding fathers would have never had the notion of what TRUE freedom meant and that it cannot be taken away by another man. What Jesus really set up was that if any man, power, authority, entity wanted to rule over other men (people), they would have to go through Him first, not us standing on our own. He owns us, paid the price for us and as long as we allow Him to be the King in our nation, no man has the authority to rule over the other and we are truly a Free People. I ask only one thing and that is you say a prayer for our Nation. It wasn't Jefferson, Washington, Madison, etc that made us great or gave us freedom, it was their faith in Jesus Christ. We can feel the burdens being heaped upon us, we are being consumed in anger and bitterness over the oppression we're experiencing already and the only way we are going to stop it is to get on our knees, just as our founding fathers did when they set out to create the United States of America. They headed here with a small set of principles and the laws of Moses to establish our Republic. They had everyone against them and more than enough reasons to give up, but their faith was stronger. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah Lot had asked God to spare it if a certain amount of righteous men were found dwelling there. Had there been men of faith, that city COULD have been saved, but there were NONE. Have we become that way? Will God send down angels to find none worthy among us? All I ask is for one prayer, even if it is just the raising of your hands to the heavens and saying Jesus.....He will hear us. God Bless the United States of America whose King is Jesus Christ.
