Bigfork, Montana - September 25, 2011 - This morning, a very devious hacker called TiGER-M@TE from Bangladesh attacked the servers of thousands of web sites hosted by InMotion. The Stand Up America US web site is one of the many who are now recovering.
The web hosting service InMotion, a very reputable firm used by many thousands of web sites acknowledged the breach and gave the following statement: "At around 4 a.m. EST, our system administration team identified a website defacement attack affecting a large number of customers. We are still investigating, but it appears that files named index.php have been defaced. We are evaluating how this has occurred and our security team will have more information shortly," InMotion said in a statement. "While we review this issue, cPanel and SSH access has been disabled on various platforms. For additional security, we are rotating passwords on a number of accounts."

Our staff at SUA is reconstructing our index files per instructions from our provider and we should be back up shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working feverishly to restore the site as soon, and as safely as possible. This type of breach is not transferable to your computer we are told, and when the site returns your computer will not be affected by viewing the site. This email comes from a separate provider at Constant Contact and will not affect your computer. Thank you for your patience and consideration, Scott W. Winchell National Editor-in-Chief Stand Up America
