Chuck Schumer: Flim-flam artist, ready to squander our tax dollars on corrupt unions and cronyism, then blame it on the Republicans and the Tea Party

Chuckie Schumer -  All Mouth With Sharp Teeth Bites Taxpayers Again

Chuck SchumerFor the past 10 to 12 years a very loud but empty headed noise has emanated from our United States Senate in the form of an overly obnoxious and profoundly glory seeking buffoon who, at the very sight of a television camera, goes instantly haywire and dangerously destroys anyone who may block the camera operator from getting a full shot of this publicity schnook. The owner of the not-too-generous traits outlined above is one New York Democratic Senator named Charles Schumer. I suspect that Democrat leadership feels that they can call on "Chuckie" to make a public spectacle out of himself as the spokesman for anything distasteful with which leadership would rather not be connected.
This droid is always available to make a public appearance and even when what needs to be said is not necessarily the truth this 'mouth that roars' does not shirk from the TV view; in fact, he relishes being front and center as if all this is his evil doing. On October 13, 2011 the Investors Business Daily IBD Editorial online at Investors.com published its report titled, "Tea Libel" scolded Democratic Leadership for "refusing to take the blame for the wretched Obama economy," (and) "turning to a desperation strategy: blaming their most virulent critics, the Tea Party." This is something that the Democrats do extremely well, (it may be the only thing they do extremely well) and that is deny, deny, deny and pick someone else to fault for any failed initiative for which they have been responsible.

The IBD Editorial continues, "You'd think it would be impossible for Democrats to direct blame elsewhere for an extravagant stimulus they enacted - with no Republican support - when they controlled the White House and held comfortable majorities in the Congress. "But Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., the third-ranking Senate Democrat, has found a way: libel the Tea Party, a movement that has absolutely nothing to do with the economic policies now in place." Facts in a matter, regardless of how incriminating they may be, are bypassed with an air of Noblesse Oblege as if their nobility is beyond question and they just could not be responsible for anything that failed. In a memo released by the haughty Schumer, IBD reports "The opponents of the president's jobs proposals should be invoked as 'Tea Party Republicans.' If their obstruction continues, it will risk a 'Tea Party recession.'" Did you get that bit of slight of hand maneuvering by the slippery lipped Schumer? He blithely ignores the realities that HIS political party and HIS president and HIS fellow members of Congress actually DID pass a jobs stimulus bill in 2009 for close to one full trillion dollars of our tax dollars which FAILED miserably and for which, I might add, no accounting of that near trillion dollars blown by HIS party and president has been made to the American people to date. When are you planning to tell the people what you did with THEIR trillion dollars, "Chuckie"? Or are we just supposed to forget it even though it doesn't seem to have created ANY jobs; an contrarily, probably wound up losing more millions of jobs when the unemployment numbers rose from around 8 percent to over 9 and as much as 10 percent? Is that what you want us to do, "Chuckie"; ignore where the money was doled out to and just blame the whole fiasco on the Tea Party? Do you take us all to be as big of fools as the Democratic Party is trying to paint the Tea Party people who had nothing to do with this LOSS of nearly a trillion dollars on a failed jobs stimulus program? And now here we are again with Obama holding out his hand and pointing his finger at the American people and telling them to criticize the Republican Party (not just the Tea Party) for stopping legislation to, as he puts it, create more jobs for the country. I'd like to know what he means by "more" jobs; is it "more" than what he created with the near trillion dollars of our tax money for which We The People have never received a full accounting? If so, that should be easy; if he just creates ONE job with this near half trillion dollars he will have done that. This Administration and its lackeys in Congress, personified by the ever-ready to face the cameras, Chuckie Schumer, are flim-flam artists of the first order, always ready to squander our tax dollars on corrupt unions and cronyism and then blame it on the Republicans and the Tea Party. Stop this wasteful and probably illegal profligacy and do what you're supposed to do: Protect the American tax payers; don't rob them.
