Extolling the Faults of Minimum Wage Makes Liberals More Dense

I have no idea how many columns I have written exposing the down sides to enacting and constantly increasing the minimum wage; but it has only created more density in the gray matter of Liberals, that is, if in fact, Liberals actually do have some gray matter.

A raise in minimum wage has proven to be a huge albatross around the necks of young workers trying to get a foothold on the ground floor of industry. Just when they are beginning to show signs of improved performance at the entry wage level of employment some dunderheaded politicians who are struggling to make an impression on some of the lesser-learned voters cry poor-mouth and pity for those "lowly paid hard working novice employees". Actually this is a lot akin to the also dunderheaded politicians who cry and bleat about the global temperature's fluctuations which cause excessive warming, but when these weather gyrations start to cause global cooling these same know-nothings change gears and start calling it "climate change", comically and foolishly and accidentally getting the term more precise and in agreement with normally intelligent people but they still don't really know what in the #-2-sticks they're talking about. But one thing rarely ever changes and that is these trolls of society are always politically Liberal and can't wait to get started spending your taxpayer monies to worsen any harebrained scheme that strikes their feeble mental acuity regions.

Getting back to the minimum wage delusion or political mind-cramp which creates in the minds of fools, a satisfied feeling that if they can get the other gullible politicians to give these mostly young entry employees a raise in pay, it will make them look like the saviors of poor down-trodden helpless slugs at the bottom of the company payroll and they will get their and their friends' votes for being so cavalier and helpful. That is the biggest piece of farcicality and bull-pucky known to man or woman. In point of fact, it's a progress killer. Our biggest and probably best known shyster politician currently using this outright ploy to get votes for himself and his fellow dunderhead Liberals is none other than Barack Hussein Obama. You know him, the slickster from Chicago, home of the country's biggest bed of "now you see it; now you don't" when it comes to your income and unfortunately all those young people trying to get a foothold in the corporate world. In the February 19, 2014 CNSNEWS.COM, Terence P. Jeffrey writes "Minimum Wage Hike Attacks Young and Industrious" and mentions our always working the pump for votes president Obama who "described his proposal to increase the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 per hour in language suggesting this would not be a tax increase." Do you see the magnanimity for himself by stating it wouldn't be a tax increase? Most people who got past the fifth grade are quite aware of that. He could not theoretically propose a tax for such a pay increase. But most dunderhead Liberals don't know that. Then Jeffrey goes on quoting Obama, "It would lift millions of Americans out of poverty, and help millions more work their way out of poverty, without requiring a single dollar in new taxes or spending." Let's look at that for a moment. I have already explained about it not being a tax, but it always sounds good to a politician when he says it; and this time he embellishes it by adding "spending" to the 'no tax' boast. Presumably he, Obama, means no government spending because any wage increase decree will be an attack on the worker's employer. So Obama is proposing that all the employers give the minimum wage employees a raise at company expense, not the government. How grandiose and big-hearted can you get? Liberals are very skilled at spending other people's money. They do it constantly. It's the one thing they do well. The CNSNEWS reports that the Bureau of Labor Statistics show, 144million people were employed in the United States in 2013. Of these, 76million were paid an hourly wage, and 3milllion of those earned at or below the minimum wage. That means only 2.3 percent of American workers earned at or below the minimum wage. All this fuss and hullabaloo for a tiny 2.3 percent of the workers and Obama says "It would lift millions of Americans out of poverty, and help millions more work their way out of poverty." If you believe that I have for you a lakefront cottage in the Sahara Desert - cheap. The notion that Obama's proposed minimum wage raise would lift millions of Americans out of poverty is questionable and probably doubtful. First there are only 2.3 percent at the so-called "poverty" level and almost concurrently with that raise in pay, the workers just above the entry minimum wage who have more responsibilities in their jobs will insist they get a raise because of those added responsibilities and so on up the ladder of ever-increasing step raises. Thirty seconds after the employee in the step above the entry minimum wage gets his or her increase, that previous minimum wage employee will once again be the minimum wage worker and the Liberals can start the cycle all over again. Do you see the fallacy of the minimum wage fairy tale? A minimum wage earner will always be the minimum wage earner until he gets promoted into a new position on the company payroll. There will ALWAYS be a minimum wage earner at the bottom of the employment structure; the alternate to that is everybody will be a superintendant or a company owner due to the "trickle up" nature of step pay increases. In this minimum wage situation there is another factor that is not attractive for America and that is job loss, as in increases in the unemployment rolls which the CBO estimates will reach 500,000 jobs in the long term or by 2016 as reported by CNS News Terence P. Jeffrey. But the devious Mr. Obama can always "seasonally adjust" those numbers (wink, wink) in any direction, as he says, "he can do anything he wants". Obama voters wanted an Administration with no credibility, and by golly they got one. Always be careful what you ask for, you just might get it!
