Cairo, Egypt—The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have withdrawn their ambassadors from Qatar. In a joint statement, they explained they had to start taking appropriate steps to protect their own security and stability. The three countries hope that the government of Qatar may take immediate steps to achieve what they previously agreed upon, and protect the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The move comes in reaction to the policies of the Qatari government, which is sponsoring terrorism in the Arab region, especially the Muslim Brotherhood and its fleeing elements from Egypt.
What many people don't know, is that there is a long story leading up to this action taken by the three Arab countries, which Egypt already took a few months ago. The withdrawal of the UAE Ambassador occurred about three months ago but was s not announced until this week. The move represents an important message to Washington, according to many experts, because Qatar is working like the American agent in the region.
Qatar, a small country ‘created’ in 1970, is important for two reasons: First, it contains the largest two American military bases in the Middle East, which makes Qatar like America’s 51st state. Second, Al-Jazeera, which in just a few years has been able to become the loudest Arabic channel in the world.
Before, during and even after the Arab Spring, Al-Jazeera was the instigator of the first incidents of violence that hit the Arab countries. Al-Jazeera dedicated a channel to broadcast its poison and hatred in Egypt around the clock, as if it were the official sponsor of political Islam, especially the Muslim Brotherhood. Al-Jazeera helped the Muslim Brotherhood win parliamentary and presidential elections in Egypt.

Qatar revealed its ugly face by hosting terrorists and murderers who escaped from Egypt after the June 30th revolution that toppled the Brotherhood, giving the terrorists aid, security, money and even its nationality.
Recently, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister made a tour in Qatar and Egypt to calm the tense atmosphere between Cairo and Doha, before the Arab summit in Kuwait scheduled for the end of March. This was not the first time that an Arab country tried to reconcile Egypt and Qatar. In December last year, the Deputy Defense Minister of the UAE and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, said that Qatar will change its policy toward Egypt within six months, in order to achieve a comprehensive reconciliation between the two countries.
Sources say that the Emir of Qatar, has become more convinced of the need to achieve reconciliation with Egypt, especially after the clear message from Saudi Arabia that they will propose the expulsion of Qatar from the Gulf Cooperation Council, if it did not stop its hostile policy against Egypt and its support for the Muslim Brotherhood. The Saudi kingdom threatened to boycott meetings of the GCC and the Arab - African Summit and oust Qatar from the GCC permanently, unless Qatar changes its positions.
At a meeting in Kuwait last November, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia blamed the Emir of Qatar harshly for his support for the Muslim Brotherhood and his hostility towards Egypt, saying that Qatar carries responsibility for any repercussions that may occur.
The Emir of Qatar was forced to sign a document committing to the requests that, King Abdullah stressed on the Emir of Qatar, saying: You are committed before God of the implementation of the agreement you signed, otherwise you face the full and irreversible boycott.
Asa result of the negotiations, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, an Egyptian of Qatari nationality with very close ties to the ruling family of Qatar, and 'god father' of the Muslim Brotherhood has increased attacks on the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. It is also certain that Al-Qaradawi did not launch his attacks on his own but was instructed and abetted by the Qatari authorities, which totally undermines the reconciliation agreement and written pledges made by the Emir of Qatar.
It seems that Qatar is comfortable with its role to implement the instructions of the U.S., even if it is against the interests of Arab countries. The withdrawal of the ambassadors should be a strong message to Washington, who insist on helping and supporting the Muslim brotherhood through Qatar.
Arab countries frankly said that these policies that Washington and Qatar insist on following are not welcomed or even tolerated anymore. The role of Qatar as a gateway to America’s will and as an American puppet must be stopped.
The most important message to Washington is that many things have changed and will never be the same again.
