This week in left-wing creepiness: ObamaCare will make you feel 'human again'

"Only a massive, unsustainable, government boondoggle can bring worth to your existence." - Liberal Bible, 1 Jarrett 4:14
Do you feel "lees than human?" Do you lack self-esteem? Are your days spent wandering aimlessly through life, desperately trying to latch onto anything - anything at all - that will make it seem as though you are a living, breathing, part of our global community? If so, ObamaCare is for you. At least, that's what President Obama and Valerie Jarrett want you to think. In the creepiest bit of ObamaGanda since "Julia" took the ObamaCare world by storm, the President and his top advisor are fervent in their belief that the not-so-Affordable Care Act will give meaning to your pathetic little life.

According to President Obama's underserved Monday afternoon victory lap, "Marla Morine" is from Fort Collins, Colorado. The President quoted her as saying that the first time she used her new insurance “you could probably hear my sigh of relief from the White House." That's about all the info anyone seems to have on her. There's no word on whether she was newly insured or one of the 6.5 Million people whose feelings of "inhumanity" were caused by ObamaCare cancellations. Though, the fact that she feels human "again" seems to indicate that she felt human (and was therefore insured) at some point in the past. To be honest, it doesn't matter. What's terrifyingly sad about this is the notion that one's self-worth - their very humanity - could ever be contingent on insurance or a federal plan. That Marla Morine apparently had such a low opinion of her own value as a human being speaks far more about the disastrous state of our culture than the value of the President's "signature achievement." It shouldn't take a failing federal program to lend worth to your reality. Sadly, it seems people aren't being raised to understand that, or they've forgotten it somewhere along the way. On the other hand, maybe you're someone whose self-esteem relies on participating in federal bureaucracy. If that's the case, by all means head over to Healthcare.gov and check the blue "I tried" box. You'll be lying, but it will get you around the fact that the "deadline" has passed. Then you too can feel "human again."
