What is going on with CNN, NBC and other mainstream media (MSM) who savaged Sarah Palin during the election campaign and now want to talk to her? I really don’t get it.
But then, maybe I do.
During the campaign the MSM couldn’t do enough to make Palin look like a greedy idiot who wasn’t smarter than a fifth grader. They bashed her for dressing well at the expense of the Republican Party, but always intimated it was she who was doing the spending.
They ignored the stupid comments of Joe Biden but couldn’t get make enough of any slips made by Palin. The MSM crucified her for not being ready for the White House, but never analyzed Obama’s lesser record of inexperience. Had Palin been black, the media would have been charged with committing hate crimes.
And now, these same shameless bullies want to interview her? Blitzer wants her on his CNN show? Next will Oprah change her mind and have her on her show so as to avoid accusations of racism against Palin?
As far as I am concerned, the MSM are backtracking to try to distance themselves from their own shameful, amateurish and mean-spirited conduct during the election.
They want you folks out there to forget the role they played in demonizing Palin. They want you to forget the lies they promoted, the rumor-mongering they delighted in and most of all they want you to think they are really unbiased.
This too-little, too-late interest in attempting to be “fair” to Palin is a sham and more of the same crap from the MSM crowd.
Over the past few weeks, I have received letters from Americans who are afraid, they are angry at being spoonfed Obama-inspired propaganda, and they will not soon forget an election that was riddled with voter fraud and extremist tactics.
And here’s another manifestation of the MSM’s self-renewal campaign. On CNN, if you are still watching these clowns, you will notice that the crawler on the bottom of the screen now contains never-ending feedback from CNN’s audience. Interestingly the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Now that looks like honest stuff. I wonder who they hired to manage the blog? It must be ACORN.
I hope both Palin and McCain will tell their erstwhile media detractors to take a long walk off a short pier. The fact is, they do not need them. It would really nice to see her tell Oprah to buzz off and the New York Times to go interview Robert Mugabe for his take on the election, if they haven’t already.
It is almost unimaginable that the MSM hypocrites can, with a straight face and oh so sincere tone look to Sarah Palin for interviews.
Meanwhile, this same bunch continues to shill for Obama while ignoring some of the most important issues starting to surface across North America.
Watch the bloggers, folks, you won’t find the truth about Obama in the mainstream media. They’re just too darn busy covering up.
