Republican Congressman opts out of questioning Holder - implies he should be behind bars

Earlier, we watch Attorney General Eric Holder launch into an arrogant, hubristic, verbal assault on Louie Gohmert. To say the least, it was unprofessional, and reeked of the kind of "untouchable" attitude with which the Obama administration operates. There's a good chance that Holder would have done something similar while being questioned by GOP Representative Blake Farenthold (R-TX), but he never got the chance.

Farenthold refused to dignify Holder's appearance with any questions, and implied that the Attorney Gerneral should be cooling his heels in jail.
I’m committed to maintaining the Constitutional balance of power and the authority that this legislative branch has, and I just don’t think it’s appropriate that Mr. Holder be here. If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department’s subpoenas, they would be in jail and not sitting here in front of me, testifying.
Frankly, a failure to comply with subpoenas would be the last of Holder's problems were he a private citizen. If he weren't at the top of the law enforcement food chain, Fast & Furious would probably already have put him behind bars as an international gun-running accomplice. Regardless, it's nice to see a Republican Congressman show a little chutzpah - especially to Eric Holder's face. Well done, Mr. Farenthold. If I were you, I'd assume you will now find yourself near the top of the "undesirables" list. Be careful what you say, write, and text from now on, because everything is probably tapped.
