‘Apart-hide’:

Obama hiding behind Kerry on Israel attacks

When President Barack Obama comes out in his now habitual open verbal attacks on the United States, he rarely does it on home turf. The less-than-courageous Obama lobs his verbose bombs against the U.S. from the safety of afar.
Putting down America on foreign trips, the tabs of which are forced back on long-suffering American taxpayers, has become Obama’s signature trademark. Obama’s latest insulting put-down of the U.S. came in Malaysia Sunday when he told Malaysian Prime Minister Najib: “The Prime Minister is the first to acknowledge that Malaysia’s still got some work to do just like the United States” on human rights. That’s Obama’s Artful Dodger role as America’s worst critic. The anti-Israel Obama has now found a safer new way to go after Israel: When Obama goes after Israel, he goes after Israel through Secretary of State John Kerry.

Up to now, John Kerry’s biggest claim to fame was when he claimed to have tossed his Vietnam medals over the fence in the U.S. capitol. The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth- exposed Kerry called Israel an “Apartheid state” before attempting to walk his comment back when Senator Ted Cruz called for his resignation yesterday. Kerry, who made his Apartheid comment in time for the same day Israel was marking Israel Holocaust Remembrance Day, a solemn holiday to remember the six million Jews that fell victim to Nazi persecution, has the same chance of walking his comment back as he would retrieving the war medals he trashed. Now that public backlash has followed his outlandish remarks, Kerry is saying he “would have chosen a different word” if he had a second chance at saying it. Six million Jews never got a second chance in German occupied territory, Mr. Kerry. Kerry says that during his service at the State Department and in the U.S. Senate, he’s “walked the walk” and shown repeated support for the state of Israel, reiterating his desire for a two-state solution “that results in a secure Jewish state and a prosperous Palestinian state.” (Business Insider, April 28, 2014) Knowing that a two-state solution will never work, millions of Israelis would prefer a “different word”. Kerry defiantly declares, “I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, particularly for partisan, political purposes, so I want to be crystal clear about what I believe and what I don’t believe.” He proceeds to explain he does not consider Israel an apartheid state and regrets the word choice. (Business Insider) “If I could rewind the tape, I would have chosen a different word to describe my firm belief that the only way in the long term to have a Jewish state and two nations and two peoples living side by side in peace and security is through a two state solution.” Notice how Kerry’s original statement was clarified and defended by the State Department as it was being attacked by Republicans. Meanwhile, Obama’s gargantuan globetrotting serves as both a safe smokescreen for putting down America from afar and a means to avoid big problems at home like continuing massive American job loss. While Obama gets to travel in precedent-setting luxury, he’s had the convenience of two wind-up dolls doing the heavy lifting in the last two Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton, the wind-up doll on the Benghazi scandal and Kerry throwing potshots at Israel. There is no doubt that if the tape could be rewound, many would happily rewind Obama, Clinton and Kerry straight into merciful oblivion.
