Climate Disruption, Climate Chaos, Release of 36,000 criminals

The Sky is Falling at the White House

The Sky is Falling at the White House
The fabled Chicken Little knew the sky would fall some day, just not in a country where the news would be greeted with the words: “Mon Dieu!”
In a scene that transcends the folklore of Henny Penny, more commonly known as Chicken Little, Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday gave a world platform to French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, who immediately sent out a warning that the world has only 500 days remaining to avoid total “climate chaos”. The world now knows why President Barack Obama renamed the household words ‘Climate Change’ first cousin of ‘Global Warming’ to ‘Climate Disruption’ a few weeks back. Put chicken heads on these global warming hucksters so that everyone knows who the real Penny Hennys aka Chicken Littles are. “Secretary of State John Kerry welcomed French foreign minister Laurent Fabius to the State Department in Washington on Tuesday to discuss a range of issues, from Iran to Syria to climate change. Or, in the words of the foreign minister, "climate chaos." Kerry and Fabius made a joint appearance before their meeting, and the foreign minister warned that only 500 days remained to avoid "climate chaos"[emphasis added]: (Weekley Standard, May 14, 2014)

“Well, I’m very happy to be with John. There is no week without a phone call or a visit between John and myself, and we have on the agenda many items, many issues – Iran, because negotiations are resuming today; the question of Syria, and we shall meet next Thursday in London together; Ukraine as well; and very important issues, issue of climate change, climate chaos. And we have – as I said, we have 500 days to avoid climate chaos. And I know that President Obama and John Kerry himself are committed on this subject and I’m sure that with them, with a lot of other friends, we shall be able to reach success on this very important matter. “It is unclear what the foreign minister had in mind with the 500 days.  However, France is scheduled to host the "21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change" in December 2015, about 565 days from now.”
Given the bombshell report by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released from an internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) document, there will be fewer left when the sky starts falling: in 2013, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released from detention 36,007 convicted criminal aliens awaiting the outcome of their deportation proceedings--including 193 individuals convicted of murders, 426 convicted of sexual assault, 1,075 convicted of aggravated assault, and 303 convinced of kidnapping--with no hashtags forthcoming. “Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) put this utter abdication of responsibility in the proper context. ”This would be considered the worst prison break in American history, except it was sanctioned by the president and perpetrated by our own immigration officials,” he declared. “The administration’s actions are outrageous. They willfully and knowingly put the interests of criminal immigrants before the safety and security of the American people.” (Arnold Ahlert, CFP, May 15, 2015) Climate disruption’s got nothing on murderers, sexual assaults, aggravated assaults and kidnappings for ridding the planet of innocent folk. “CIS makes it clear that this report is different than the report it released in March entitled “Catch and Release.” That one revealed that ICE declined to bring immigration charges against 68,000 criminal aliens they encountered in FY 2013, due in large part to what CIS characterized as the administration’s sweeping “prosecutorial discretion” guidelines. That report led to congressional inquiries, prompting ICE to release an enumeration of FY 2013 criminal aliens freed, and the criminal convictions tied to these individuals. Smith was one of the lawmakers who had pressed DHS for the detailed breakdown. (Ahlert) “CIS explains the distinction between the two different reports:
“It is important to recognize that the 36,007 criminal aliens counted in this document are a different set of cases from the 68,000 releases reported earlier. The 36,007 criminal aliens counted here are aliens who were being processed for deportation and were freed while awaiting the final disposition of their cases, or afterwards. The 68,000 releases were cases of alien criminals encountered by ICE officers, usually in jails, but who were let go in lieu of processing them for immigration removal charges in that year.”
“Two months later, Americans now know that felonies or other serious crimes aren’t necessarily deportable offenses either. Or even multiple convictions: CIS noted that the 36,007 individuals released by ICE accounted for 87,818 convictions.” Whether in French or English, Fabius’ hysterical warning that only 500 days remain to avoid “climate chaos” is bound to be welcome news to many global warming alarmists who believe there are too many people on Earth in the first place. The rest of us already know that ‘Climate Disruption’ advocates like Obama and Kerry view the world as upside down, and continue to set public policy that make the world upside down. Meanwhile, those who survive Fabius’s December 2015 predictions of “climate chaos” should treat him the same way the world treated the world-is-coming-to-an-end doomsayer, the late Harold Camping, former civil engineer turned false prophet and radio evangelist, who made his mark by predicting the world was coming to an end May 21, 2011, later postponing it to October 21st. He recanted and retracted, voluntarily retreating from society when neither came to pass. It must be one of life’s curses that addle-headed kooks never get away with what politicians do.
