My recent commentary about stopping the suicide of a nation highlighted the failed policies, scandals, cover-ups and outright lies from the Obama administration and their elected Congressional Democrat cohorts. The list includes the crisis in Iraq, the VA scandal, the IRS targeting scandal, Benghazi, the EPA's attack on the coal industry and property rights, the unfinished implosion of ObamaCare and this perpetually stalled economy.
Each week, more and more evidence unfolds about the depth of these failed policies, scandals and cover-ups, as the mainstream media goes merrily merrily along ignoring it, by not reporting or providing only a smidgen of reporting, the seriousness of these denials and destruction.
As Congress goes on its usual July 4 vacation week, and with only a limited number of days left on the congressional calendar to do something constructive, the mainstream media will pay even less attention to these destructive issues. This is exactly what the administration and the Democrats want as the 2014 November elections approach, because they want voters to remember as little as possible about these bad economic results, scandals and cover-ups, so they can still vote for Democrat candidates.
You see, relying on voters' forgetfulness is a political tactic both parties count on to get votes, except the Democrats are aided and abetted by the mainstream media.
But we will not let you, or any liberals who dare to know and remember the truth, forget. That's what we do!

Let's start with President Obama saying once again that all of these scandals and talk of cover-ups are just phony Washington stuff ...
“Sometimes the news that's coming on, these are just Washington fights. They are fabricated issues, they are phony scandals that are generated. It's all geared towards the next election, or ginning up a base.” - President Barack Obama
Really! Are we that gullible and stupid? Most of us are not. That old saying is true, "You can't fix stupid!" But with ignorance there is some optimism. But President Obama is right about it all being geared toward the next election, which is why the Democrats are so emphatically in denial that any of these are real.
So as a distraction tactic, Obama and the Democrats insist that doing something about climate change is a real crisis in which we should be investing.
“That's why today I'm announcing a new $1 billion competitive fund to help communities prepare for the impacts of climate change and build more resilient infrastructure across the country.” - President Barack Obama
The national debt exceeds $17 trillion and growing. The economy is headed toward another recession. The GDP shrank 2.9 percent in the first quarter of 2014. Unemployment is increasing. Energy prices are going up. Health insurance costs are dramatically increasing due to the implosion of ObamaCare. Median family income has declined nearly $3,000 per family in the last five years of this administration and Democrat control of the Senate.
So let's spend $1 billion on the global warming/climate change scam.
Democrats are also in denial that the president has overstepped his authority. The Supreme Court ruled last week that his recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were unconstitutional. It was a unanimous decision!
Speaker of the House John Boehner believes there is more of that, so he announced a lawsuit against the president. He clearly said it was not about impeachment, and of course Representative Nancy Pelosi said it is a waste of time.
“I make of it a subterfuge. I said, they are doing nothing here and they have to give some aura of activity.” - Representative Nancy Pelosi
Nancy, he broke the law. There may be other instances, so let the Court decide.
By the way, I had to look up the word "subterfuge". It means “deceit in order to achieve one's goal”. Is that the pot calling the kettle black! It's Nancy saying “deceit” is in our playbook and you can't use it! But in this case, I think Speaker Boehner and the Republicans are on to something.
How about Nancy Pelosi's reaction to the latest jobless claims numbers, which have been consistently over 300,000 a week for several years now? You won’t believe what she said about unemployment benefits:
“The money is spent immediately, it injects demand into the economy, and it creates jobs.” - Representative Nancy Pelosi
Unemployment is a jobs creator! We can only wonder where she got that lunatic economic notion. There is absolutely no credible evidence whatsoever to support that claim. But it sounds convincing to the gullible on the BHN Network.
Harry "Koch Addition" Reid goes from outrageous claims to outrageous distractions. He spoke on the floor of the Senate after the US Patent Office revoked the Washington Redskins football team registered trademark.
“This is extremely important to Native Americans all over the country that they no longer use this name. It's racist.” - Senator Harry Reid
A recent poll found that only 9 percent of native Americans even care about the use of the name Redskins for a football team. That's hardly an offended majority.
Lastly for today's BHN broadcast, as ObamaCare was rolling out across the country and there were thousands of horror stories reported about how peoples' insurance and health care were being negatively impacted, Harry Reid just dismissed those stories as a bunch of lies.

These are just a few of the more recent examples by the BHN Political Network. Time does not allow us to share some of the whoppers being spewed on their cable affiliate station JCD (Joe Biden, Charles Schumer, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz).
The good news is that more and more people are in fact waking up to their propaganda. The claims and denials are becoming so blatant that even some of the traditionally liberal news outlets are starting to sound the alarms. Not many! Just a few!
