Chris Matthews and Al Sharpton agree: Dick Cheney conquered the holy land, created ISIS and Al Qaeda

Last night's post-ISIS speech "analysis" was a smorgasbord of crazy. Virtually every news network had something nutty happening. While CNN was content to let their talking heads simply fight it out, MSNBC took a different approach. As usual, they embraced the "Spinal Tap method" and turned the insanity all the way up to 11.

The loony pinnacle came to us via Chris Matthews and Al Sharpton - two people who apparently believe that Dick Cheney "took over" the Holy Land at some point. Then, as they inform us in the following clip, he created ISIS and Al Qaeda. His wanton acts of creation completed, on the seventh day, Dick Cheney rested. What's weird is that the left used to blame Reagan for the creation of everyone's favorite "on the run" terrorist organization. I guess, as the 80's become a more and more distant memory, they feel like they need to “bump-up" the Al Qaeda timeline so they could keep blaming Republicans. As for how the former Vice-President managed to create ISIS years after leaving office? Well, that's a mystery that only a pair of highly intelligent MSNBC hosts could explain. If MSNBC was smart, they’d give these two a bizarro version of Crossfire where they could just shout their crackpot theories at each other. It'd be hilarious. Thanks to Soopermexican, who suspects that Chris Matthews thinks Dick Cheney wrote the Koran.
