Liberal MP Ted Hsu sees ‘beauty and light’ in ISIS head choppers
Parliament resumed sitting on Sept. 15 after the summer recess. During the Members’ Statement portion of Monday’s session, CPC member, Tom Lukiwski, (Regina-Lumsden-Lake Centre) made a brief statement about the reasons his party was excited to be back in the House of Commons.
One of the reasons stated was his government was “choosing to keep Canada strong and principled in a dark and dangerous world.” The reason why Lukiwski referred to the world as “dark and dangerous” needed no explanation. He was obviously referring to what is occurring in the Middle East where the Islamic State is beheading and killing thousands of Christians, Yazidis, and Muslims who do not agree with their interpretation of the religion of peace, with the odd journalist and aid worker thrown in. Well that was just too much for rookie Liberal MP Ted Hsu. He later tweeted, “Conservative MP calls world ‘dark and dangerous’ in member’s statement’s today. Libs see a light and beauty in the potential of every person.” Hsu was challenged on Twitter by another person who said there must be a heart of gold underneath the rough exterior of someone who beheads another human being. Hsu did not disagree with this sarcastic statement. The MP from Kingston and the Islands replied the beheader has the opportunity to realize what he did was wrong and announce it to the world.

Yeah, right. Hsu, who has a Ph.D in physics from Princeton, doesn’t seem to understand that terrorists have strong beliefs that what they are doing is right, not wrong. Beheading infidels is not like robbing a bank where even robbers with borderline intelligence understand that walking into a financial institution with a gun for the purpose of taking money that does not belong to them is “wrong.” The terrorists, or “militants” as liberals like to refer to them are devout Muslims who justify their actions as being mandated in the Koran. Maybe someday they will realize killing infidels is wrong. Maybe someday the pope will realize abortion is a matter of choice for a woman. Unfortunately for the Liberals, Hsu, who was first elected in 2011, announced he will not seek another term. Perhaps he wants to travel to Iraq and Syria to praise the goodness and light of members of the Islamic State. This guy is worse than his leader, Justin Trudeau. Trudeau happened to be interviewed by CBC’s Peter Mansbridge about two hours after the Boston Marathon bombing. When asked about it, rather than saying there was not enough information available at the time to know who set off the explosives and why, the kid said we have to understand the “root causes” and opined the bombers acted because they felt “excluded.”

Trudeau has no difficulty visiting extremist mosques in Canada

Trudeau has no difficulty visiting extremist mosques in Canada, purporting to do so in order to teach them Canadian values. If true, his condescending attitude implies these “foreigners” simply are not bright enough to know what these values are and need lessons from a former part time drama teacher. They know what these values are; they just prefer their values which include such things as female genital mutilation and stoning women to death for adultery to values such as equality of women and equal rights for gays and lesbians. Trudeau is also the guy who criticized the Canadian government for describing such practices as female genital mutilation and honour killings as “barbaric.”

When it comes to sympathizing with terrorists, he has completely outdone his leader

On one hand, Justin-boy must be glad Hsu is not seeking another term in office. When it comes to sympathizing with terrorists, he has completely outdone his leader. It is never good for a politician to show up his or her leader. Anything is possible but it is even difficult to imagine Trudeau seeing “beauty and light” in the unfortunate people who had no choice other than to turn to killing because of resource depletion or some such other nonsense. It is nice to imagine Liberals MPs as having a few drinks and laughing about Trudeau’s views on Islamic terrorists while conceding he is the only person that can lead them to power. But Hsu has shown Trudeau’s sympathy for the poor little dears in the Islamic State who turn to terrorism is probably a widely held view within the Liberal Party of Canada. A Liberal government would offer no protection to the country from those who are seeking to destroy us. It’s scary.
