Obama; a wrecking ball of global proportions

Without America there is no free world

The premise of the Canada Free Press is, to me, self-evident. Without America, there is no free world. Fearfully, we are getting closer to that state of affairs six years into the Obama administration.

Obama promised the most open and transparent government ever, and gave us the most opaque and politically motivated administration ever, as is seen every day in White House and State Department Press briefings. But, notwithstanding opinions to the contrary, Obama is not always lying when his lips move. We have to remember that he oftentimes promised to fundamentally change the United States of America, and he is fulfilling that promise every day. He's been true to his word by weakening the US to the point of no longer being the world's polestar. He has weakened our government's already parlous financial condition. He has gutted the armed forces and its officer corps. He has made us a laughingstock around the world, particularly in the dysfunctional Muslim world. He has weakened our economy and that of our trading partners. It is credibly reported that he has made every decision since the day he stepped into the office only after consulting with Valerie Jarrett, - who has no more experience than he has and no better judgment. He could have arguably done better with a coin toss. If he were actually a "Manchurian Candidate," (a fifth columnist) he could not have done more to harm America or her allies, and the cause of peace and freedom around the world. He is little help to Israel as she fights for her life to prevent another holocaust and his decisions have abetted the rise of the Islamic Caliphate/State, with all the horrors that have resulted. He has been a wrecking ball of global proportions. So, who can doubt it? The one thing we can say of Obama is that he has kept his promise. He has fundamentally changed America. Mark Alesse
