Desperation in Georgia: If you don't want another Ferguson, you'll vote for Democrats

Yesterday, we discussed a few ways in which candidates and supporters of desperate Democrats were playing the race card. We knew they'd keep doing it but, honestly, we didn't really think it would get more shameless than the Kay Hagan "lynching" fliers. We may have been wrong.

In Georgia, flailing Democrats are trying to turn out the early African-American vote, so they've released a new mailer designed to do just that. The message? Vote for Democrats, or there's going to be another Ferguson. Oh, and by the way, these adorable children might be shot. Isn't that nice? It's sort of like a mobster demanding protection money by informing you that "you've got a nice place here, it'd be a shame if anything happened to it." Democrats are actually trying to drum up votes by suggesting that, if African American voters don't support them by voting early, their children are going to be gunned down and the ensuing riots will destroy their cities. As the flyer informs us:

"Ferguson, Missouri's population is 67% African-American. But the city's Mayor, 5 of its 6 city council members, and 94% of its police force are white. What are we going to do about it?"

The easy answer to that is "probably nothing, because they're in Missouri and we're in Georgia," but the Dems don't want people getting hung up on facts. They want black voters to be terrified of the "evil, racist, white people" because they think it will ensure that the party can continue to take their votes for granted.

"If we want a better, safer, future, it's up to us to vote for change."
