COLORADO: Republican Cory Gardner defeats Democrat Mark Udall

Stick a fork in the "War on Women" it's all done. Republican Cory Gardner has defeated Democrat Sen. Mark Udall in Colorado in a huge win.

Udall based his campaign around supposed "women's issues" like abortion - to the point where he was being heckled for his singular focus. Udall's obsession has not paid off, and he has lost to his GOP challenger. This is a pick up and - for now - puts the Republicans at +5 in their quest to take control of the U.S. Senate. The "war on women" is over.
