Debbie Wasserman Schultz says her 'party has a problem.' Fortunately, she doesn't know what it is

If you've seen any of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's insane clips over the course of the last year, you know one thing: Debbie promised that the Dems would not lose in 2014. Their party was strong, people loved ObamaCare, the President was still popular, and they were going to do well in the midterms. Then Election Day proved her disastrously wrong.
Now, she's changed her tune and she's informing her fellow Democrats that their "Party has a problem." Fortunately for our side, she clearly has no idea what it is. Take a look at her post-election statement:

According to DWS, the Democrats are "right on the issues." You really don't need to listen to any more of her message because, if this is what they actually believe, that one simple sentence tells you all you need to know. Dems spent the last election screaming about racism, sexism, class warfare, and ginned-up divisions - all precisely because they've been so terribly, terribly wrong on the issues. Every major poll showed the President and his party deeply underwater on everything from foreign affairs to the economy. ...And they had no way to turn that around.
  • They couldn't run on anything they've done, because virtually none of it has proven beneficial to the nation.
  • They couldn't tout their successes because, other than the killing of Bin Laden, the last five years have been pretty much success-free.
  • They couldn't blame the GOP for Democrat failures (though they tried) because people just aren't buying it anymore.
  • They couldn't portray themselves as not being corrupt, because scandals within the NSA, HHS, IRS, DOJ, and State Department prove otherwise.
  • They couldn't portray themselves as competent because of how they handled ObamaCare, the rise of ISIS, and the declaration of "victory" Iraq.
This is a party whose "policies were on the ballot" and were soundly rejected. Poll after poll said the economy and unemployment were the number one concerns in the country, but the Dems ignored those issues. Why? Because the only "solutions" which they're willing to implement have already been tried ...and failed. Instead of changing course, Democrat after Democrat attempted to create faux racial outrage to motivate their voters. They decided to run the same old "us vs. them" campaigns of demonization and distraction. It didn't work. Now, they're up the creek without a paddle. If Dems try to moderate on their core issues they'll alienate their radical base. They can't win an election without embracing the far lefties that now control their party. If Republicans play their cards right - the Dems will head into 2016 with a weak presumptive nominee, a devastating deficit in terms of state legislatures and Governors, and party that's far more fractured than the GOP. Deep down, Debbie probably knows this. However, the fact that she can't bring herself to say it out loud speaks volumes about the state of her party. The longer they take to admit the reality of their situation, the better things will look for 2016 and beyond.
