RIP Richard Williamson: Heroic CA Private Officer Killed In Gun Battle!

The recent murder of Richard ” Big Will ” Williamson, owner of BW Security Services, in Riverside, CA., once more serves notice about the very real threat decent Black men and private officers face in urban settings. He died after exchanging shots with gunmen firing into the crowd at a skating rink he secured.

Believe it or not, skating rinks have become high risk venues for private officers and police. This case brought back memories of the heavy police and security presence at the one back home to keep just this type of tragedy from happening. Here’s the news broadcast about this outrage: I won’t even ask will there be marches on his behalf? Since he was well known in his area, maybe, just maybe people will take to the streets on his behalf. According to witnesses he saved a lot of lives. I’d like to think that counts for something but these days it doesn’t seem to. Here’s his company web site. He’s as much a civil rights hero, for safety, as any of those sainted names we recall from the past. In the 21st century, safety rights from violent crime is what we need to be worked up about, instead of shifting blame elsewhere! RIP Big Will. Thank you for protecting the imperiled safety rights of a client who clearly needed it! NOIE: My use of the term, ” private officer ” comes from the industry term coined by Private Officer International.
