....And I know why!

Liberals hate war movies

I have not seen the hit movie "American Sniper," nor have I been closely following the murder trial of the person who killed Chris Kyle and his friend, Chad Littlefield. I have also not followed the unfolding bias by Hollywood liberals against the movie, but I know why they hate it. ….It's for same reasons they hate almost all war movies.
Namely, war movies expose their naïveté and their refusal to accept or understand reality. After all, they live their lives wrapped in an unrealistic view of the world while they make a living pretending to be people they are NOT. I came to this conclusion after recently watching the movie "Black Hawk Down." I’ve always wanted to see it, and I know it has been out for quite some time. But, until now, I’ve never managed to catch it. I spotted it this weekend on a cable movie channel and timing is everything! It's not important that you know the story line itself. The important takeaways are the emotions and grim realities of war. Liberals hate these sorts of movies because they’re in denial of the fact that sometimes, sadly, killing is necessary. If we do not kill enemies they will kill us. We should be thankful that we have brave men and women willing to fight for what we believe in - even at the risk of losing their lives. Black Hawk Down takes place in 1993 when the U.S. sent Special Forces into Somalia to pave the way for sending food and humanitarian aid to the starving population. The people were victims of government corruption and neglect. According to the movie credits at the end over 1000 Somali rebels were killed, and 19 American soldiers died. Although I do not discount the death of the Somalis, nineteen American families suffered the loss of a loved one. Liberals think we can just sing "cum-ba-ya" and solve all global conflicts. They promote this strategy overseas just as they do here at home. Sadly, it's just not reality. It's called "seeing the world as they would like it to be, rather than how it really is."

Corrupt governments do not care about their people. They only care about acquiring and maintaining power over their subjects, even if maany of those people have to die. Their mission is not alaways based on religious ideology, often it's a political ideology of dictatorship disguised as a democracy. ISIS is a religious ideology. We are fighting radical Islamic terrorists. They want the whole world to believe as they believe. The penalties for a refusal to do so are violence, torture, and death. As most war movies illustrate; it's kill or be killed. We are at war with ISIS. The world is at war with ISIS. This administration can try and word-smith this threat all they want, but they can’t “talk away” the danger that the world currently faces. War movies remind us of the reality that death, pain, and emotional turmoil will are the tragic byproducts of standing up to evil. …But the limousine liberals don't want to be reminded of reality. Regardless of our enemies' motives, our men in women are dying for Hollywood liberals’ right to play make believe in "la la land.” As long as progressives adhere to their denial of the realities of war, they should keep their opinions to themselves. They benefit from the sacrifices of our soldiers every bit as much as conservatives. There are some courageous conservatives in Hollywood, and they’re fighting the same battles that the rest of us are fighting, which is to get the truth to more people. Just like black conservatives, Hollywood conservatives are often forced to express their views "below the radar" to avoid liberal criticism and intimidation. Fortunately I’ve never been able to fly under that particular radar, nor do I want to. Some Hollywood conservatives have even told me that certain companies will refuse to give them acting parts if they're too outspoken about their views. As a black conservative, I know the feeling. I don't get invited to galas and events attended by prominent black Americans. Good!!! "American Sniper" has broken all kinds of box office records since its release. It's clear that the American people have voted with their dollars, and their admiration for our military heroes and heroines is obvious. Most of us can handle reality and that's why conservatives in and outside of the Hollywood liberal establishment consistently support telling people the truth. Getting the truth to people is a daily battle. …And it's probably the most important war we fight.
