“"Talking Points" believes President Obama does love his country. It has certainly been kind to him. I have had conversations with the President about helping wounded vets and American history. And I don't doubt his patriotism.”Giuliani was talking about Obama not loving America, Mr. O’Reilly. How were his spoken words taken so quickly to Obama’s patriotism? Perhaps even more significantly, how did how Obama treats America possibly develop into a memo backing up his patriotism? O’Reilly distinguished the differences between Giuliani and Obama by pointing out that one takes terrorism seriously while the other doesn’t. Back to O’Reilly’s February 23, 2015 ‘Talking Points’:
“But if Barack Obama were here today on this set, I would tell him that he needs to stop equivocating about terrorism. On his watch, ISIS has grown from a nothing organization to a powerful terror threat. That's not a good thing to have on your resume. “So right now, right now the President needs to begin taking ISIS and other jihadists somewhat personally. The way Giuliani does. He needs to step it up. In a smart way and realize his theoretical strategy is no longer effective. That doesn't mean dropping U.S. forces on the ground all over the place. But it does mean devoting most of your time, Mr. President, to this clear and present danger. “If Barack Obama would do that -- would take a leadership role in defeating the jihad, Mayor Giuliani and the other critics would begin to support him. I firmly believe that.”Obama taking a leadership role in defeating the jihad, is akin to wishing on a star, Mr. O’Reilly. Just as he hasn’t budged the proverbial inch from his Fundamental Transformation of America, Obama hasn’t lifted a finger, other than the ones saluting the Islamic faith, in defeating the jihad and even defiantly refuses to call Islamic terrorism by its name. Talking heads who come up with alibis for Obama; ones who slide in boasts about knowing him personally, and those who continue to provide cover for the mean and cruel things he’s done to American citizens for more than six years, add to the confusion of who Obama is and what his end goals happen to be for the rest of us. O’Reilly and the talking heads of the day keep saying that it is Obama’s policies that should be criticized but not him personally. How is it possible to criticize Obama’s policies without criticizing Obama personally? When it comes to public approval of Obama’s policies, the country is split roughly along 50-50 lines. The roughly 50 percent who did not vote for him in 2008 and 2012 can see quite clearly that there’s a method to Obama’s madness. The 50 percent who give him high marks in popularity polls are destined to drive up the numbers in those popularity polls given the millions of illegal aliens now ready to swell their ranks. Even so, millions now know that there IS a method to Obama’s madness. Obama makes no bones about whom he loves. Obama says he "loved Spock." (CTV News, Feb. 27, 2015) “President Barack Obama says Leonard Nimoy, who made the sign for "Live long and prosper" famous the world over, achieved that goal during his 83 years on the planet.
“The actor, who played Mr. Spock in the "Star Trek" TV series and films, died Friday at his Los Angeles home. “Obama says Nimoy was there "long before being nerdy was cool." He described Spock as "cool, logical, big-eared and level-headed," and the center of an "optimistic, inclusive vision of humanity's future." “He adds that he met Nimoy in person in 2007 and greeted him with the Vulcan salute -- four fingers separated into a "V" shape."According to Obama, a television character is “cool, logical, big-eared and level-headed”, while Americans who disagree with him are “bitter bible clingers,” bigots and racists. An unidentified email message going the rounds last week tells the story better than any talking head: Meanwhile, there is no doubt that Obama’s posture on America has nothing to do with love, and even less with patriotism. If only the talking heads of cableTV would get a grip on reality.
