Obama is willing to use military force...against one of America's allies, in the defense of a maniacal group of radical Islamic mullahs

Report: Obama threatened in 2014 to shoot down Israeli jets if they tried to attack Iran

As far as I know, Israel is America's ally and Iran is America's adversary. But there's America and there's Barack Obama. Apparently the two are not the same, at least in a geopolitical sense. The man who whispered to Dmitri Medvedev that he'd be flexible with the Russians as soon as he got himself re-elected is apparently quite willing to engage in combat against our ally Israel if that's what it takes to protect the nuclear facilities of our adversary Iran.
And when the Israelis were prepared to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities last year, the biggest mistake they made was telling the execrable John Kerry about it. He went straight to Obama, and Obama readied the troops to go into battle to protect Iran:
The Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran last year after discovering that the U.S. and Iran were involved in secret talks over Iran's nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back. The report claimed that an unnamed Israeli minister who has good ties with the US administration revealed the attack plan to Secretary of State John Kerry, and that Obama then threatened to shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran. According to the report, 'Netanyahu and his commanders agreed after four nights of deliberations to task the Israeli army's chief of staff, Benny Gantz, to prepare a qualitative operation against Iran's nuclear program.

'In addition, Netanyahu and his ministers decided to do whatever they could do to thwart a possible agreement between Iran and the White House because such an agreement is, allegedly, a threat to Israel's security.' The sources added that Gantz and his commanders prepared the requested plan and that Israeli fighter jets trained for several weeks in order to make sure the plans would work successfully. Israeli fighter jets reportedly even carried out experimental flights in Iran's airspace after they managed to break through radars. Obama and Kerry are determined to wave a piece of paper that represents peace in our time with Iran. The entire foreign policy of these two jokers and Hillary Clinton has been a disaster on a global scale, and it's hard to build a legacy on that. So they're pushing hard for a deal pretty much regardless of the terms - a fixation that has the Israelis describing Kerry as "obsessive" and "messianic" - and the last thing they want is for someone to actually prevent Iran from developing nukes with real, concrete action. Supposedly when Netanyahu addresses Congress during his current visit to the U.S., he's going to reveal some sort of new information concerning Iran's nuclear ambitions - maybe something Obama and Kerry know but don't want made public. Perhaps that's all the more reason they're trying to do everything they can to destroy the legitimacy of the speech and everything Netanyahu will say. And why should Netanyahu care how Obama feels about it? A guy who would perpetrate an act of war against an ally to help protect an adversary's pursuit of nuclear weapons can hardly be taken seriously as any sort of partner in peace or security. At least you can say that Obama is willing to use military force. It's just that it has to be used against one of America's allies, and in the defense of a maniacal group of radical Islamic mullahs who once held Americans hostage for 444 days and now want to threaten the world with nuclear weapons. Nice president you elected there, Americans. Dumbasses.
