MSNBC: Democrats headed for 'buyer's remorse' with Hillary - Have no plan B

If you want to know just how little confidence the left has in their "inevitable" presidential nominee, all you have to do is spend a few minutes with the fine folks from MSNBC. Their ratings impaired network has become an endless parade of dejected faces - each of which is yakking about the fact that Hillary's problems seem to be piling up all over the place. If Mrs. Clinton gets the nod, they have problems. ...And they know it.

Check out this clip of Thomas Roberts as he tries in vain to convince himself that Hillary's going to be OK. He seems to think there's a chance she could "always reinvent herself" but acknowledges the very real possibility of "buyer's remorse" after she becomes the Democrat candidate. First of all, there's simply no way that Hillary can substantively "reinvent herself" at this point. She'll certainly try, and there's no doubt that MSNBC will do everything it can to help sell the effort, but the fact remains that everyone knows exactly who and what she is. We've witnessed decades of her achievement-free deceit and obfuscation. She's not Madonna. She can't slap a fresh coat of paint on what she does and expect people to view it as something new. More importantly, as they say in the clip, there is no plan B. The Democrat bench is painfully shallow, and no one has taken the time to cultivate a legitimate Hillary alternative. Yes, there's always the chance that a dark horse could emerge the way Obama appeared in 2007, but it's going to be awfully difficult to recreate that energy. If the best runner-up they've got is a Maryland Governor who's a complete unknown west of his own state, they've got serious problems.
