Hillary dodges influence-peddling questions - can't understand why you're talking about it
Hillary Clinton is right about one thing. Everyone is talking about her. We've been told, for about 15 years, that she would someday be President.
In 2008, she was the "inevitable" choice who would defeat the always-unelectable John McCain. Then, she was trounced by an experience-free newcomer with a modicum of charm and an interesting narrative. Now that he's leaving office Hillary is, once again, inevitable. She's been called the smartest woman in the world, she's the odds-on favorite to win the Democrat nomination, and yet her supporters are incapable of naming a single tangible achievement from her time as First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State. Still, however much they wish it wasn't the case, she's the libs' top dog. So, yeah. People are talking. On rare occasion, a reporter might even get close enough to ask her a legitimate question like:
"Your reaction please to these book allegations. Did foreign entities receive any special treatment for making any kind of donations to the Clinton Foundation or your husband?"

...And disastrous answers like the one below aren't helping her. ABC Breaking US News | US News Videos First of all, we'll answer her question. If we weren't talking about Hillary, we'd be talking about whoever the next-in-line "inevitable" left-wing statist candidate was. As it is, Republicans are talking about Hillary because she's the only candidate the Dems have managed to produce. That's how this works. Politically minded people talk about their opponents. When the GOP frontrunners emerge, we'll talk about them, too. We've already spent a good deal of time on Scott Walker and Rand Paul. More will follow. In the meantime, let's talk about Hillary's dodge. It's absolutely one of the most hollow, rhetorically-empty, campaign moments we've ever seen. "They're saying I sold influence at the State Department for cash? Golly! Why are they talking about me? I'm just little old Hillary!" The lack of a substantive answer is duly noted - and not just by conservatives. Even the lefties at MSNBC are talking about her refusal to come clean. In other words, it's time to attack the messenger because he's making uncomfortable allegations about the woman who is - so far - the Dems solitary, meager, 2016 hope. Of course Hillary doesn't want her opponents talking about her. She's had a ridiculously bad campaign launch, is mired in scandal and criminal accusations, and is trying to grab the political brass ring after four decades of provable lies. Her problem is that - clowns like David Brock aside - even her allies can't find any real reason to elect her...
